About our Feedback

We have never received a negative comment about an item we sold.

We have received negative feedback from three sellers who, in our opinion, do not comply with eBay standards.

One thought a buyer should wait 6 weeks for delivery and not complain- we disagree!
Another retailiated with lies when we posted Neutral feedback for his poor performance. This dealer accumulated many negatives over the next 2 years, most for the same issue- or worse. His account finally went inactive a few weeks after another buyer reported losing several hundred dollars to his schemes. We hope he went to jail. In spite of our documentation, his feedback still blemishes our record.
The third listed $8.50 freight for an item that actually cost less than $4.00 (several years ago). After the auction ended, he revealed that he would not be responsible if we did not pay even more for insurance. We complained, asking him to reconsider his position, but did not refuse to pay. Surprisingly, he posted Negative feedback a few minutes later! His account is also now inactive.

Beware of the 'Not Responsible' fraud on eBay

Have you noticed all the listings that include the phrase 'I am not responsible...'? Our question is: 'Why do business with a person who tells you he is not a responsible person?'
We consider ourselves responsible for items we ship. We pack well and provide proof of shipping- at our cost, not the buyer's. We think to do otherwise is in poor taste at best, unethical at worst. What incentive does a seller have to perform well if the buyer agrees to accept all responsibility?
As an example, we recently received a board game that was just dumped into a Priority Mail ENVELOPE!! No packing material of any kind was included. Predictably, it was damaged. Damage caused by irresponsible actions of this nature are not covered by insurance. The carrier demands adequate packing as a condition of insurance. So, who's responsible? We do not bid on items offered by sellers who say they are 'not responsible' and suggest others do the same.

Beware of Meaningless Phrases fraud on eBay

Two phrases appear frequently in listings on eBay:

'Looks like it's all there'
'Good condition for its age'

Both statements attempt to relieve the seller of responsibility for properly evaluating an item. We recently bought a game that arrived missing substantial parts. The seller's response to our complaint was 'I didn't say it was complete, I said it looked like it was all there, and it did to me'. (unbelievable)
We have received other items that were just, plain ugly. The sellers have explained that most items of that age look worse so that condition is 'good- considering its age'.
Condition is condition. An item is either in good condition or it's not. Age has nothing to do with it!

To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received.

Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
