   Hi! Thanks for looking at my "About me" page. My name is Daniel, I live in Portugal in Europe and I've been in eBay not for a long time, but it has provided me some good times buying and selling things that I really enjoy: Vintage Toys.

Recently I found some of my old childhood action figures toys and since then I am trying to complete some of my collections or buying new one to replace the ones that were broken and I am always looking for a good bargain! :-)

I am a small collector, I don't have the room or fund$ to have a huge collection like some of my fellow collectors, but I wish I had!

So sometimes, I buy some old vintage toys and sell them to somebody else, so I can keep funding my personal collection.

The Collector:

My favourite toylines when I was a kid were HE-MAN, Thundercats, GI-JOE and the so underpriced RAMBO from COLECO. But since I don't have room for everything, I am just trying to complete some of those collections, buying some specific figures. Today I am only interested in Thundercats, RAMBO and GI JOE in this order of interest.

The SELLER:
      A small part of my activity in eBay is selling some toys I buy but don't collect (because I see there's a good business oportunity) like some G1 MISB Transformers or some I do collect but don't have room for displaying them like I wanted, e.g., some of MIB/ MISB GIJOE Vehicles.

      As a SELLER, I always do my best to provide all the information a buyer might need about an item I am selling: I describe it with all the details collectors find important and I take a lot of pictures.

      I provide a very good service because I know that when people buy stuff they like to know when is the item shipped, when will it arrive, if it will be good packed, so I always contact the buyer and I:
1) ship the item ASAP;
2) send them a picture of the packed item, so he/she will know that it is well packed;
3) send a scanned copy of the post-office receipt;
4) provide the tracking number so you can track your package within Portugal national territory;
5) tell you how long you'll have to wait until you get your item (information provided by the post-offices)
6) give feedback as soon as I receive the payment. In my opinion you have done your part, paying for the item, and since I am satisfied, I'll leave you positive feedback immediately. I just ask you to leave me feedback when you receive the item, because I care if the costumer is satisfied.
7) don't rip you off with shipping costs! I always ask what the post-offices charge plus 2$ that is what costs a box and plastic bubble!
8) at last, but at not least: I ALWAYS ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS, VERY FAST.


The BUYER:
      Well that's about 90% of my activity in eBay: Buying your old stuff! :-)

      I am what you call a "fast payer", since I always pay for the items I won minutes after the auction ends, unless it ends in the middle of the night!

      I always leave positive feedback as soon as I receive the item and I am pleased with it. Since I am a good seller myself, I always expect that when I buy something, that the seller provides good services, like aswering my e-mails, contacting after payment has been received, small things like that... that makes the difference.

      I HATE when a seller tries to overcharge with shipping! I know how much it costs to send one figure from the USA or UK, because I have dealt with excellent sellers, that only charged the necessary and one can lose all credibility when they tell me that the shipping for a loose figure is 10£ or that sending one accessory that weights just as much as a cigarrette is as high as 5£!
