| When I lived in Australia, I learned that "fossickers" are the folks that go out into the outback digging for opal, gold, garnets and such. I enjoyed trying my hand at that kind of fossicking, but realized I've been a fossicker all my life, striving to unearth lucky finds at yard sales, junk shops and the Goodwill. Of course now my house is stuffed and I need more room, so now I dig in my own garage or attic and bring you the hidden gems.
