Welcome to
jeansgalore&more
which I started in June '06 after having used auctions only for over four years. I started doing eBay on someone else's computer while I had a small backstreet thrift shop, stuffed with things I knew would sell in other locations. Soon, I was hooked and bought my own computer, but good merchandise was scarce where I lived. The thrift shop went down the drain after 9/11, and I was forced to take a job. Shortly after moving to Raleigh, I discovered that there is lots of good stuff here - more than I have time to list along with my job as a cashier. I have now gone on part time in order to have more time for eBay, and hope to soon be able to drop the job.
I absolutely love both buying and selling on eBay, but it does have it's trying moments. I try hard to describe my items accurately, and as my feedback testifies, most of my customers are happy. Occasionally, I overlook a fault, or some gadget doesn't work, in which case I gladly accept a return and offer a refund.
I would like to point out that of all my neutral and negative feedbacks, none was caused by my trying to cheat anyone. Two were revenge by people who never paid. All the others were people who did not bother to check the measurements of the clothing items, then got angry with me because the garment did not fit them.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is the reason why I only give feedback after I have received one from the buyer. As the occasional appearance of negative feedback shows, this strategy does not always work, but it's my only weapon against buyers who blame others for their own shortcomings. Lies are common in these cases - anything to cast the blame on someone else. I mean - how would it benefit me to give the wrong measurements? So, shop with confidence, as long as you read the description and the terms.
And why would I want to cheat you, when my success depends on your satisfaction, and your wish to return for more shoppping?
March 2009: I have recently added Canada to the list of countries to which I will ship, and that proved to be a good move. For items under 1 lb., I offer them to U.K. as well.
However, if you are in a different country and see something you would like to buy, please feel free to email me. I will give you a shipping quote and, if needed, add your country to the listing.
Thank you for taking the time to read this page, and
Have a great summer!
