I am an avid Star Wars fan and became obsessed in the Summer of 1999 shortly after the release of Star Wars Episode I. I never gave the original three movies any other credit than being good movies when I was a kid, but after seeing Episode I and noticing the incredible toy line that followed, I was hooked on collecting the toys that followed all of the movies. After collecting most of the Episode I series in 1999, I began going back and finding many of the POTF2 figures and ships at greatly reduced prices. I snatched as many as I could up, even if in bad condition. I stored these away and as I found more and more Star Wars items at flea markets, garage sales and from bins from my own childhood, I needed to find a way to increase my collection quickly and cheaply. Then in 2003, I found eBay. From the moment I set eyes on what I could obtain at great deals from all over the world, I was in love with eBay. Since February of that year, I have amassed an incredible collection of both modern and vintage figures, ships, playsets and memorbilia that spans the life of Star Wars. I will continue to collect because the hunt for the rare and variant pieces are a thrill I have never had before starting to collect Star Wars. I love the hunt for the elusive pieces that will one day finish my collection, but I think even after my collection is "complete" I will find something more to add to it, and the hunt will be on again. Well, as of August of 2005, I have completed my vintage Star Wars collection. I have obtained every loose figure including the hard to find Yak Face. Now, I am looking for Master Replicas .45 lightsabers. I recently became a member in 2005 and received a Darth Maul .45 double bladed lightsaber as a gift. I would like to amass a small collection of these for display. Also, I am focusing much of my time and money on finishing off all of the MOC action figures produced since 1995. For ROTS, I have obtained the latest three MOC figures this afternoon as well as the remainder of my Evolutions box sets. The Clone Trooper to Stormtrooper are stunning! New updates soon.....
