Hi Y'All,
After a 2 1/2 year stint selling for Something Weird Video on eBay (ID weird-o-rama), and amassing over 7900 Positive Feedbacks and a 99.9% Positive Feedback rating selling VHS/DVD, film and posters, I decided to sell stuff myself with my original ID. I didn't really know what to sell, but I hooked up with an old friend who has a hugh record collection and he wanted me to sell his LPs. I personally gave up on records in the 80s right after CDs came out because of their new "clear" sound. I was a staunch CD-O-Phile and never thought I'd go back to LPs. After listening to some of my old LPs on my adequate player, I upgraded to a nice Rega and can now say the LP is better. The snare and vocals alone are worth the switch back. On my shopping sprees, I try to get off-the-wall stuff as well as the classics with no particular genre in mind. I like Classical to Garage, and Classical Garage. I'll pass on good titles if it's not in really good shape, so be assured I'm picky about what I sell.
With regards to eBay and my commitment to you, I can guarantee that I will respond to your queries, problems... quickly and respectively. I was described by a buyer as the "exception" to the normal sellers on eBay whe I was with Something Weird because of my genuine desire for customer satisfaction. I will bend over backwards for people to make sure the transaction is a good one. That doesn't mean I'm a pushover though, as I will block bidders/buyers who give me a hard time. You certainly won't get a hard time from me. So, if I inadvertently misrepresent something I sell due to lack of specific knowledge about an item and you are unhappy, just let me know and I will do my best to make everything right.
