is simple, I list an item (Auctions/"Buy it Now!") and you either bid,
win or use the "Buy it Now!" I send a invoice, you pay, I ship, I send
a Shipping Confirmation E-mail which has a link to www.usps.com and a
"Delivery Confirmation" number, we leave Feedback for each other, Done
Deal! "Money Orders" are gladly accepted. Please e-mail me and let me
know that you are sending one!
All packages are properly packed, sealed & and
protected. I strongly recommend
insurance
depending on the order.
The Fine Print
Shipping: We ship the same day or the very next day
(24 to 48 hours) after your
payment is received. All packages have Delivery
Confirmation on them which is included in the shipping price. All buyers will receive a
email via ebay thanking them for their payment, a ebay email statind that we have shipped out to you
and lastly a paypal email stating that we have shipped. The delivery confirmation number is included in
both the ebay and paypal meails.
The only exception to a shipment not having Delivery Confirmation are the Star Wars Trading Cards and Star Wars Miniature
Stat Cards. We ship those regular U.S. Letter Mail seven days a week. The shipping charge
for all Star Wars Miniatures is
$2.75 for First Class Mail + Delivery Confirmation which is included in the $2.75. Compare
the shipping
costs for Star Wars Miniatures from other sellers to ours. If a mini has a higher price for
shipping,it is due to the fact that it is one of the larger mini's which has a shipping
charge of $3.50.
Therefore, if you bought a bunch of minis, you will be charged the highest shipping rate
of one + an additional 0.25
cents for each additional mini. An example of this would be a Star Wars Universe Bantha
whose shipping is $3.50 due to the
weight factor involved + 0.25 for additional minis and action figures. If the parcel weighs
over 13 ounces such as two
(2) Force Unleashed Tie Crawlers or one (1) Clone Strike Hailfire Droid & one (1) Bounty
Hunters Homing Spider Droid, your
parcel will be shipped Priority Mail which is a minimum fee of $6.00 unless it exceeds 16
ounces which will then take it to
the $8.00 USPS fee.
Shipping Methods: We ship USPS First Class
and Priority Mail. We do not ship
Parcel Post. When one sends a item Parcel Post, sometimes it sits at the Post until there is
a full load for the truck that
takes it to the dock by the sea. When there is space available on a boat, it then heads to
California where it will sit and
wait for a truck to Florida. By the time you receive the item, you could grow a beard! I
have had items take up to 45 days to
reach me from the mainland. This is why we ship all items First Class or Priority Mail.
We even had a Priority Mail package take over 21 days to reach Florida but that was the fault of the
USPS.
Your Shipping Address: It is your
responsibility as the buyer to update your
shipping address in both ebay and Paypal. We will not be held responsible if you move and do
not change it. Therefore, if we
ship out your item, it is your responsibility to communicate with your U.S.P.S. delivery
person. If a item is sent back to us
since you have moved or your shipping address is not up to date, it is the responsibility of
the buyer to pay all of the
shipping fees for a reshipment.
Signature Confirmation We (Seller) will not
be held liable for someone else
other than you (Buyer) signing for a shipment if it has signature Confirmation. When I go to
the local USPS, I have to show a
ID card to sign for my mail especially if it requires a signature. We had one incident where the local postal person in New York
handed over a shipment to a party
who was not authorized to sign for it but did. We cannot control the actions of a employee
of the local USPS in your area in
regards to your mail.
Shipping Materials: All profit from any
shipping is thrown back into the pot
to purchase more packing materials and to also ensure proper protection of your shipment. If
one takes a close look at the
shipping price for an item when you receive your parcel versus what you were charged....the shipping fee really is not high
especially when one considers the ebay listing fee, final valuation fee and that Paypal takes their chunk from the payment that we receive. We are trying
our best to not over charge and/or pad our shipping fees. It takes time to go to the local
U.S.P.S. when we travel via vehicle. Gasoline here in Hawaii
costs more than the mainland. That is something to take into consideration in regards to us having to
go to the USPS all most daily. We
do not charge handling and do combine shipments.
APO Attention all ebayers who have an APO
(Army Post Office) and/or military
address overseas. Effective immediately, insurance is now mandatory on any and/or all items
purchased from us. We found out
at our local U.S.P.S. that the Delivery Confirmation can only be traced to the last United
States Post
Office prior to the shipment going to your APO where it cannot be traced or delivery
confirmed. Insurance is protection for
both you the (Buyer) and us the (Seller).
Our Store Policy in regards to bidding and "Buy
it Now!" options for darthoz's
star wars toys:
Payment Time Period: Once you have
won an auction, whether you were
bidding, have utilized the BIN (Buy it Now) or made a "Best Offer" which we accepted, you
have three to five (3 to 5) days to
pay for the item as stated on
the description of the listing. If you decide to bid on an item on or after the 5th day that
the payment is due, this is fine
with us. You are still responsible for paying for the first
item prior to or on the 5th and final day that it is due by Midnight Pacific Time Zone (set
to ebay's clock in San Jose, California, U.S.A.) including the shipping rate of that item.
If you win a auction, we will gladly combine shipping. We will send you a
new invoice with the shipping charge adjusted to save you cash. The bottom line is that if you have the intention
to bid on more items, please communicate this fact with us since we are not mind readers all though we do have some of
our apprentices who are force sensitive. ;-)
Effective immediately, those
who have not paid in the specified time period indicated above will be added to our Blocked
Bidders List. We had a ebayer who bought items and did not pay. We received several emails
for the same items that were purchased but not paid for. What we are aiming at is that the
items not paid for by the ebayer
could have been sold to other
ebayers/collectors who wanted them!
Example: Ebay Member X conducts a BIN for a
$5.00 item with a shipping fee of
$2.00. Total is $7.00. We invoice, he or she pays.
Ebay Member X decides to bid on something that he or she likes. Ebay Member X wins the
auction for a total of $2.00. We send a new invoice for the amount of the win which in this
case would be $2.00 + 0.75 cents for shipping. Grand Total of $2.75 and item will be shipped
with BIN item mentioned above together of $7.00 for a new combined price of $9.75. Usually
the
additional items fee is 0.25 cents for a miniature (depending on the size) or 0.75 cents for
a bust up or action figure. If the item is a larger item, the additional shipping fee
(subject to change per amount of weight) will vary depending on the item.
Auction Perpetuating or Auction Perpetuators will not be tolerated. This is
the individual who utilizes BIN, does not pay, then has the nerve to go ahead and bid on a
auction. They also send a email
saying that
they will pay but are bidding on another item at this time. We do not condone this type of
behavior.
Once you do not email us with the intent to communicate the fact that you are going to pay
and after we have emailed you, sent an invoice or sent a message in a coconut floating on
the
ocean from Oahu, Hawaii to the mainland (Continental United States of America), we will be
forced to file a unpaid item strike. The item will be sold or re listed. Furthermore, you
will be
banned from purchasing items from our store. Banishment is not a good thing!
Unpaid Item Strike: Why did you file a Unpaid
item strike on me? First of all,
after we have exhausted all efforts to contact you to pay for a item, we will file a Unpaid
Item Strike. You are added to our
Blocked Bidder List so that you cannot conduct transactions with us. If you can't pay for
one item, why should we let you bid
or buy more items? As soon as a auction ends, we send a invoice. You have 3 to 5 days to
pay for your item(s). We send a
Payment Reminder after the 5th day. If we do not receive payment, we file a Unpaid Item
Strike. We have the option of
reselling the item if we choose to.
Consider a Unpaid Item Strike as a reminder via ebay for you to pay. We do not like to
leave negative feedback since we
believe that all it does is tarnish a reputation of a members
feedback profile on ebay. Then again, this is a moot point since Sellers cannot leave
negative
feedback for Buyers anynore. We do not believe in using negative feedback and/or implying
that we will leave negative
feedback as a form of coercion whatsoever.
Ebays new policy is that sellers cannot leave negative feedback anymore so this is a moot
point. If you notice in all of our
listings, we do not state that if you do not pay, we
will do negative things to you, etc..
Combined Shipping: The maximum amount of
time for all ebayers to purchase
additional items for "COMBINED SHIPPING" is 7 DAYS
after the last auction win. One week. We do not have exceptions to
this rule. An example of this is if you were to win an auction that ended on the 1st of
April, you have seven (7) days in
which you may feel free to shop in our store. Whatever
is purchased in that seven day period is eligible for "combined shipping!" If you are
bidding on items that end in another
week, that item(s) will be charged for separately and
shipped separately. The maximum amount of time that we will hold a shipment and ship it out
to you is 7 days. If you buy more
items the next week, those items will be combined
and charged as a separate order.
Free Shipping Policy: Free Shipping is sent First Class
Mail with Delivery Confirmation included...if you win two or more free shipping auctions...they will be combined and still
qualify for our free shipping. We will determine the combination of auctions for the free shipping that we offer.

Payments: All payments are due in Three (3)
to Five (5) days regardless of
the days stated in the listing. We had one fellow tell
us that he pays on Fridays. Now, how in the world are
we supposed to know that? We are not mind readers nor do we have Jedi powers. If one does
not pay within the above mentioned
time period, we will file a UPI (Unpaid Item Strike)
on the item but only after we send a payment reminder. You will be added to our Blocked
Bidders
List immediately. Furthermore, you are banned from bidding or conducting business with
us.
Any pending e-checks or pending Paypal payments must clear first before we ship out to
you. We use to ship before they
cleared but after someone canceled a payment, we now
wait until payment clears. It always takes one rotten apple to spoil the bunch!
Insurance is the responsibility of the
winning bidder of an auction and/or
if you conduct a "Buy It Now!" We are not responsible
for items lost, stolen, signed for by other
parties, etc.. once they are shipped via USPS. We had one transaction where it took 33 days
for the shipment to be delivered
via Priority Mail! The head jawa in charge of
shipping argued with the postal clerk at our local USPS, she stated that they (USPS) will
only refund the shipping charge for
Express Mail services.
At this time, 4% sales tax is applicable on all items for the state of Hawaii only
regardless of whether it is stated on
the listings or not.
We do have a GENERAL EXCISE TAX LICENSE for the state of Hawaii
which covers all of the islands of
Hawaii.
INTERNATIONAL EBAYERS: One must
reside physically in the
continental United States of America in order to bid on our
items at landofthejawas or utilize the "Buy it
now!" option! If we see that you are registered in the U.S.A. and have a shipping address
outside of the U.S.A. in a foreign
country, we construe this as circumventing ebay's
rules. And please do not ask us to accept a shipment from a ebayer in the USA to reship to you.
Pre-Approval International Requirements: If
you are residing outside of the
U.S.A. and are interested in our items, you must
contact us. Once we see that you do not have recent negative feedback, unpaid item
strikes, or bid retractions, we will consider conducting business with you. These are the
rules established by our Council of
Jawas. We have had success shipping to the
following countries: Australia, Belgium, England, France, Gibraltar, Israel, Hungary &
Spain. All of the International
ebayers in which we
dealt with were pre-approved prior to them conducting transactions with us. Please note that

Mexico or South America unless you as the buyer or

Image Policy The head Jawa in charge of
images takes quite a time to set up the necessary equipment to take our custom images. As
one can notice, we do not use stock images such as some others do. We take nice crisp clean
images of what we have available. The head Jawa in charge of html consults with Oz in
regards to what the description of the character is rather than some others who just have
the character and nothing else.
I am quoting a part of the following statement : "WARNING: Copyright 2008 Any
unauthorized use of the images or text on this page is strictly prohibited. which is clearly
stated at the bottom of our auction templates we create and by "right clicking" the mouse is
copyrighted and may not be reproduced in whole or parts or re-engineered any way shape or
form including the use of our text. Any attempts to do will constitute a breach of eBay's
policies and will result in immediate reporting to eBay which may result in the permanent
suspension of your eBay account as well as full legal action!"

We have friends who have reported others who have utilized our images without our
consent....those who have the audacity to copy our images find their listings removed by ebay for image theft.
always ask first before you utilize a image from the creator of said image.

We are not trying to be shrewd
nasty Hutts like Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine. We are really mellow Jawas living in Hawaii.
After selling for one year in our
old ebay store: landofthejawas, we pretty much ran into just about every situation with
buyers. We even had one male buyer
have
his ebay account registered in a female name? He claimed it was his shopping name? Imagine
that? Whatever makes people happy
is really their business, the faster you pay, the faster we ship. It's very plain and simple

I collect all Holographic, Translucent, Spirit, Ghost figures and
whatever else one chooses to call them. A example of a
Hologram, Holographic or Holograph figure is a solid piece of plastic that is a
representation of a character from the Star
Wars films or books. Holographic transmissions are often seen in the Star Wars films. If one
is to place a light source close
to a Hologram, it will have a similar effect as seen in a film.
Here are some of the names of several characters as well as the years that they were
released.
In 2004, the Attack of the Clones line was released a Senator Bail Organa with a a small
Bluish Holographic Obi-Wan
Kenobi as well as the 2004 Holographic Luke Skywalker at Jabba's palace with a Translucent
finish.
The Original Trilogy Collection (OTC) released a Spirit of Obi-Wan Kenobi with the same
finish
as the AOTC Luke Skywalker. A Emperor Palpatine (Executor
Transmission) was
released in Purple as well as the San Diego Comic Convention (SDCC)
Princess Leia Holograph.
Gentle Giants released Bust Up's of a Clear
Yoda, Spirits of the
Rebellion: (C-3PO, Han Solo, Princess Leia & Luke Skywalker), Darth
Maul, Darth Vader and Darth
Sidious. The 2005 Revenge of the Sith (ROTS) Episode III line released
a Purple
Yoda Kashyyyk Transmission and a Purple Emperor
Palpatine .
January 2006 saw the release of 12 Blue miniature Holographs from the Star Wars Saga
(TSC) line.
The 12 Saga Miniature Blue Holographs are: Boba Fett, Darth Maul,
Darth
Vader, Darth Sidious, Han Solo, Lord Dooku, Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Queen Amidala,
Rebel Trooper, Stormtrooper and
Yoda. They are designated with one (*) Blue asterisk. The next wave were
released in Red color of:Boba Fett, Darth Maul, Darth
Vader, Darth Sidious, Han Solo, Lord Dooku, Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Queen Amidala,
Rebel Trooper, Stormtrooper and
Yoda. These are designated with two Red (**) asterisks.
The Star Wars Saga (TSC) line also released a Blue Aayla Secura,
Commander Cody, Darth Maul,
Ki-Adi-Mundi, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Plo Koon and
Saesee Tiin action figures. Of the
Obi-Wan Kenobi, there are two versions, a regular Light Blue version as well as
the harder to find Dark Blue verison.
Of the Gentle Giants Bust Up's that are mentioned above, new Holographic Bust Up
variations were discovered around 2005 +.
The Borders Books Exclusive Orange Chewbacca ,
the Hoth Series 5 "ICE VARIANTS"
of AT-AT Driver, Darth Vader, Han Solo, Imperial Snowtrooper, Luke
Skywalker and
the Wampa . A Spirit of
Obi-Wan Kenobi (Mos Eisley
Cantina) was discovered as well as the Anakin
Skywalker Clone Wars Variant Series
7 . They were randomly inserted into the packages, distributed and
sold.
The 2007 San Diego Comic Convention saw the release of the
Exclusive 12 inch Darth Sidious with
Mechano Chair. There is a newly released Commander Cody Bust with a
Blue Darth Sidious Holograph in his
hand. This falls under what I have determined to be a "Partially Holographic" item or a
"Partial Holograph". The Saga
Chameleon Droid falls under this category since its basic design is Copper metal. The legs
cascade beautifully into Cloudy
White thus representing its cloaking capability. I picked up a Kotobukiya Spirit of Yoda September 2007 on ebay for $70.00 and it was well worth the wait since it is
numbered 750 out of 3,000 total
made.
December 2007 was the release of the 30th Anniversary Blue
holographic Darth Vader as well as a Spirit of Anakin with Translucent finish similar to the 2004
Spirit of Obi-Wan Kenobi (OTC)
mentioned avove. As of April, 2008, there are new Holographic Key Chains of six characters
available on the Australian
market. This should keep collectors busy. A new SDCC 2008 Holographic Emperor talking to
Darth Vader as seen in Epiosde V is
also out on the market as well as the 8-2008 new Holographic General
Grievous and Count Dooku (Holographic Transmission) The Legacy
Collection. As one can see from this information from 2004 to 2008, we have been tracking
Holographic Star Wars toys. It
seems that the toy designers and manufacturers finally have taken notice that there is a
market for Holograms.
