I was born in the youngest of 10 children, sharing a private world with an identical twin! The house was full of artists and it wasn't hard to venture into "make believe" to find a bit of privacy now and again! The world of fantasy and magic not only intrigued me, but invited me in, and I hope you feel some of the wonderment I feel when creating my pieces! Professionally, I began as an illustrator for a national garment company, and went on to paint in watercolour and oil. Sculpting medieval fantasy dolls in clay and swathing them in finely detailed gowns of velvets and silks, pearls and gold is also a love of mine! Many are mounted on a medieval style "puppet" stick painted and festooned with ribbons! I truly hope my work can take you to a wonderful place you've never been before, and will make you smile!
