Dataseed is a small family run business that was set up to offer a range of quality new and second user computer hardware and accessories at realistic prices to the eBay community. We started life out as a sole trader in 2002, then incorporated in 2004. As of April 2009, we decided to revert to being a sole trader once again. Incorporation was not really necessary for us and so much of our time was being spent with admin. we were unable to concenrate on what was really important to us - Selling the right products at the right prices.

We have decided to continue with the Dataseed branding, but are no longer operating in the capacity of Ltd Company and are no longer VAT registered.

All products supplied by us come with a peace of mind warranty, which varies with product. In all cases, we will detail this in the item auction. We also provide after sales care to ensure peace of mind.

We will always try to be as transparent as possible and let you know exactly what you are getting for your money. If the item is new, it will be listed as such. Similarly refurbished items will be clearly identifiable.

In most cases, any items we sell that are not brand new, we will have sourced because they have been refurbished by the original manufacturer, thus reducing any post sales glitches. Like many sellers in this market, we are able to take advantage of cancelled orders and goods returned under distance selling regulations to bring real "bargains" to the discerning customer.
