Product Grading

Description

 I am a record collector. I grade visually as a default. The order I use is COVER/VINYL for records. I have strict standards. I use 4 grades. For more scarce items in less than ideal condition, I forego traditional grading and simply describe the flaws.

Grading

 NM (Near Mint) = as new. My highest grade. EX (Excellent) = Has one or 2 very minor flaws. Nothing audible or distracting. Some would call NM. VG+ (Very Good Plus) = A solid second hand piece. Some light wear that should not affect play or enjoyment. VG (Very Good) = Shows signs of wear that will likely affect play or enjoyment. Still a nice copy. VG- (Very Good Minus) = Showing signs of wear that will affect enjoyment or play, in the form of surface noise. By no means trashed but well used and still quite useable.
