Welcome

 It's my pleaseure to welcome you to my information page and to the exciting world of Paper Money and Coin collecting. My name is Dave Berg. After nearly 30 years in the business and over 40 as a collector nothing excites me more than examining and researching this wonderful old money. I started out as a young collector as many of us have, in 1958. In 1964 I was fortunate to work in a retail coin shop and learn from those with substantial experience. On August 9, 1970 I started my business having used $24 a week that my wife earned in her part time job to accumulate inventory. Share with me some of the memories.....

History

 1973 First table at an A.N.A. Convention Boston, Mass. Met Amon Carter for the first time.(Amon was a very famous collector..he owned a little company called American Airlines !) 1974 ANA in Miami..Purchased a Red Unc 1794 Cent for $12,000 an staggering amount at the time. 1975 Elected to the Professional Numismatists Guild. At the time the 2nd youngest ever admitted. Space doesn't allow me to list all the things I'd like to here. My best habit is that my customers become my friends and over time we'll talk about many of those things. I'm also very proud to have been elected to the "Professional Currency Dealers Association" I pride myself on service..you are always welcome to call or email with a question..I'll always try to help. No you don't even have to be buying something, I'm still just as happy to help you. I send out a massive price list of Currency, its free so if you'd like one just let me know. I'm also a licensed and bonded auctioneer and auction company in the state of Pennsylvania. If you have any questions or if I can be of any help there again just call or email. I was once told that if you really really like what you do you'll always do it well....its true. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
