Welcome to our "About Me" page

Thanks for dropping by and visiting our About Me Page. Like many, who sell on eBay, we started out by simply wanting to get rid of some things that were laying around in our garage or in our storage shed. In September 2001, we were the owners of (and partners in) several antiques and collectibles booths in an Antiques Mall here in Historic Frederick, Maryland. Things had been going along just great. There were always enough sales to pay the rent and we always had enough left over at the end of the month to invest in more items to be offered for sale. But after the terrorist attacks in New York City on 9-11, the market simply dried up... as people suddenly changed their buying habits. As a result, we closed all our booths and put our stock in storage. After putting the stock in storage; we wondered how long we would be renting the storage space... that's when we realized that the internet was going to have to be our store for some time to come... And so that is basically how we really got interested in seriously selling online. We're slowly added new items to the lineup and even though we're still listing some of the items from the booths we closed... you'll find new and interesting items all the time. We still have a hard time passing up a good yard sale so you'll see some really neat and interesting items in our listings from time to time and at our online store, created to display many of the items that remain from our shop(s) or from new items that have come along from yard sales, estate sales, auctions or other acquisitions. You can see those items at our website: www.TheCrazedCollector.com. It has always been our goal to provide customers with the fastest and least expensive shipping that is humanly possible. If you check our feedback, you'll find many happy shoppers who will tell you that we're good to our word about packing really well and shipping promptly. Also, what you see is what you'll get.
