My Rescued Kitten, Learning How to Help Me in the Garden

Dayspring-Collectibles was born in 1981.  In those early days I specialized in stamps and coins only and was only part-time.  In 1996 my children joined me in Farmers Markets and we moved into the nursery end of our business, which you will see on ebay during the summer months.  I began selling on ebay in 1999.  In 2000 I moved to a full line of antiques, and in 2006 moved from full-time ministry to a full-time position of doing antique shows all across the country. 

Unlike some sellers who don't really know what they are doing and just sell once in a while as a hobby, I'm in this as a living.  I try to research every item I sell so I can tell you exactly what you are bidding on and you can trust the description is accurate.  My store will always have a wide selection of interesting antiques and collectibles.  I especially like to look for the unusual and odd.

So what do I enjoy most?

Among the items I sell, stamps and coins will always be my first love.  I love the look of really nice high-end glass.  Some jewelry really catches my breath - a holdover from my college days when I was a geology major and loved rocks, minerals, and fossils.  I am drawn to items of beauty in any form.

Working the soil feeds my spirit, so my great joy is the summer when I can focus on my gardens and nursery.

I have for years been a photographer and a writer.  I currently am working on several writing projects and looking for an agent and publisher.  The older I get, the more I am drawn to the arts.
