EBAY Do's
#1. Do Please pay for your items in a timely manner.
If you can't pay for several days then hold off bidding. Many of our items require custom fitting, which by nature requires extra time. If your late paying it only makes the whole process even longer till you get your item. If payment is not received in 7 Days we reserve the right to leave negative feedback and re-list the item. Having to track Ebayers down for payment is a total waste of time and detracts from time we can be serving paying customers.
#2. Do ask questions about an item before bidding.
I answer all email promptly (usually in less then 24 hours) so feel free to contact me about any item I make. It's imperative that you stay in contact with me during the buying process, as I will most likely require your size, shipping address, etc. If you do not give me your size upon purchase you'll receive our standard size (fits most) but may or may not fit you.
#3. Do read all of an auction before bidding.
I don't trick my customers like so many other sellers do into hidden details or exorbitant shipping charges. But if you do not read the auction then you may find what you're bidding on and now contracted to buy is not what you're assuming it is. Asking questions and reading the entire auction is the best way to avoid any problems. Please also Email us if you want a quote for a custom variation of an item or a custom piece. We'll try to accommodate when and where we can.
#4. Do Setup your Paypal or Payment Process before bidding.
Please setup your Paypal account and get verified before bidding. Failure to do so leaves us in a place waiting indefinitely to get paid. You wouldn't want us to wait indefinitely to ship your item after you've sent payment so please be courteous and setup your paypal in full before bidding.
#5. Do understand that I will NOT reimburse for shipping damages and/or loss if you do not purchase Insurance.
You will not be reimbursed nor refunded for lost or damaged parcels If you did not request and buy shipping insurance at the time of purchase. Once the package leaves our hand's it's up to the Postal Service and no longer our control. It is your responsibility to ask for insurance and i'll return to you with an insurance quote and add it to your invoice.
#6. Do be patient after paying.
Because we offer custom sized pieces most are made to order. This can take a little longer then other items in the marketplace. We work very hard to get orders out ASAP. When we load up with orders, delays (although unexpected) are inevitable. We always ship orders first come, first serve. If you are curious about your order feel free to email and ask the status. Please be Patient! Remember you are receiving a highly unique custom piece of wearable metal artwork designed to your wishes.
EBAY Dont's
#1. Don't pay with unacceptable forms of payment.
Read the acceptable forms of payments as I DO NOT accept Wire Transfers, Bidpay, Cash, Western Union etc. If you do pay with one of these unacceptable methods I will not accept it and it will be your responsibility to reclaim your money.
#2. Don't attempt to fraud us. It won't work!
Don't waste your time trying to send fraudulent checks, money orders or fake wire transfers. We've been on Ebay for 10+ Years(since the beginning) and can smell a scam the moment you contact us. You'll only waste your time and get nowhere in the process. We report all fraudulent transactions to the Police and FBI.
#3. Don't Email us demanding Html help, or that we disclose seller tips.
Please do your own homework regarding Ebay. There are no get rich quick techniques only genuine hard work and dedication. Selling for us is a full time, up at dawn, all day, and so often, an all night job. Between listing, taking pictures, and making items we have our hands full. We suggest taking the Ebay online courses or attending a Powerseller class. Then get a book on HTML or take a college class. We get a lot of emails asking for business help but cannot help advertise or promote your products nor help build your website. Sorry but we have enough of our own work.
#4. Do not Ask us to hold a one of a kind item for you till you get paid.
Sorry we can't hold items, end items early, etc that are up on auction or in our store inventory for bidders.
#5. Don't email us demanding us to resize an item you purchased because it doesn't fit.
It is your responsibility to make sure you give us your right size at the time of purchase. Because refittings take both time and materials we do charge for alterations, changes, upgrades, and additions to pieces when they fail to fit properly as you have ordered them.
#6. Don't Email us asking about what music is playing!!!!
We sell jewelry not music! If your only interested in music go to Amazon. We cannot answer emails about what track is on what auction. Nor can we give you music for free. Please support your favorite artist by purchasing their music!
#7. Don't Email us asking us to reveal my suppliers of materials, parts, or other resources. Enough Said!
#8. Don't email us telling demanding you could make the same thing for far less.
Unfortunately there are people out there with no filter on their brain! So if you think you can make it for far less then be our guest and go ahead. Don't waste your time boasting to is. Chances are your full of it and probably don't have the tools, skill, or time to make a reproduction of the items we sell otherwise you would be the one selling them and not us. So don't email us with asinine remarks like this or i'll point you to this page.
#9. Don't ask us to put an Ebay store item up for auction because you don't want to pay the price of it in our Ebay store.
This is our artwork and life's blood. We've done this for year's, day in and day out, ignoring other more pleasurable facets of my life in order to show and share this artwork with the world. Even our store prices are quite affordable in relation to their value. So don't disrespect our work by asking that we sell our work for far less then what is fair. Remember quality work is never cheap, and cheap work is never quality!
#10. Don't complain to us about the prices.
We've have had to raise our store prices gradually thanks to Feebay. They've done nothing but continue to raise fee's and make the cost of doing business on Ebay terribly expensive for sellers. I've had to raise my store prices to compensate. All of the raise will not go to me but directly to the Ebay Fee. Now hopefully you can understand why 10's of thousands of Ebay sellers have left Ebay in search of cheaper selling sites. I apologize to my customers on behalf of Ebay for their greed. The spirit of community Ebay was founded on has succumb to it's own capitalistic greed. With that said my prices will fluctuate and sometimes you'll see things at a significant discount and other times they'll be at a standard price. Remember these items are handmade here in the USA and are not imported. They are not sweatshop goods like what you'll commonly see on Ebay. This is custom metal work specifically designed around industrial fashion themes and highly exotic and sought after. Death Industries is known for making the high-end range of Gothic/Industrial fashion attire. We are NOT an importer or reseller of discounted goods. If you are looking for that try Hot Topic, Wal-Mart, Gap or a strip mall. I'm sure they have trinkets you can wear. Customers who demand the best shop Death Industries.
#11. Don't ask if we can deliver your purchased items to you nor allow you to pick them up.
I can't deliver your items just because you want to save 4$ on shipping. The price of gas alone these days makes it a ridiculous request. I Unfortunately do not have a retail store nor a place you can come pick up your items. For security reasons I can't give tours of my shop nor can I meet you to deliver items. If your really that concerned about a few dollars of shipping I suggest you not buy online.
#12. "I don't like your artwork. It's deviant, and disturbing!"
Well Thanks for the compliment and it brings me to a good point. My work is to be viewed and worn only by 18+ year old adults. Death Industries deals with adult theme's, concepts, imagery and landscapes. If you don't find them appealing please surf elsewhere. Any offensive or harrassing emails will be reported to ebay. So please no hateful email. Your not going to alter, change or convert us to your thinking, way of life, or religion and If you have come to test our fortitude you will only succeed in testing our patience.
