I am mostly into dolls and have been since I was little. I think they are an art form unlike any other. My range is all across the board with no particular favorites.
The 60's and 70's.
Some of my greatest memories growing up were of my toys. I think this was a new era in toy development, and luckily I had a Mom that liked toys as much as me that bought some good ones! Dolls could walk, talk, eat, dance and sing. I think my favorites couldn't do anything but give and recieve love! SOME MEMORIES: The Barbie Trade-in. It was hard to give up my old friend! The Sears Christmas Catalog. We lived on a small island, and the catalog was our store! The X-mas I received my Newborn Thumbelina. I found her before Christmas in a shoe box in the desk drawer, and would sneak and play with her whenever I had a chance! I prayed she wasn't for my little sister, who wasn't into dolls like I was!

ONE of my main joys on eBay is finding someone else's memory doll for them! It is nice when we share the same era and can "talk" about our pleasure from dolls without feeling wierd! After growing up with my sister, I thought I must be some what odd! I was so happy to have daughters, it meant more dolls! SOME of my personal favorites with fond memories: Thumbelina's (of course!), Dolly Darlings, Baby Beans, Kiddles, Pretty as a Picture (otherwise known as "Love me Linda"), Baby First Step, and Tutti!
