In 1997 I discovered Fontanini nativities. Even though I had seen them before, they were always
displayed with sets like Anri. I just thought Fontanini pieces were priced similarly. I was
pleasantly surprised to learn that Fontanini figures were not only reasonably priced, but they're
practically indestructible. My grandkids love to play with the figures and use their
imaginations to re-create every day life in Bethlehem at the time of Jesus' birth.
Speaking of grandkids....no, I won't post their pics here. My husband and I have a "blended"
family of 6 kids and 8 living grandchildren. (We lost one perfect little girl in Dec. of 2001.)
If I posted all their pics, that would take up almost the whole page.
Fontanini is what prompted my very first eBay transaction. I bid on and WON an old music
box with Fontanini figures on it. I'm sorry the pic is so poor, but I don't have
a digital camera and wanted to at least give you an idea of what it looks like.
After that, any inhibitions about bidding were gone! And I now have a pretty good collection of
Fontanini (Depose Italy) pieces. The angel shown up above is a retired Gloria Angel (RGA) and
very hard to find. Thanks to eBay, I was able to add her to my collection. (But I don't dare
admit how much I paid for her. LOL!)
I have "met" many other Fontanini collectors on the Internet. What a great group of
people!

I recently had to quit my "real" job, so have started selling some items. I will try to
do my best to describe items accurately.
But, if you have ANY questions at all, please email me before you bid. I
really want buyers to be completely happy with their item. Asking questions ahead of time could
avoid a misunderstanding or disappointment.
A big THANKS to everyone on eBay's Images/HTML Board
who helped me create this page. I couldn't have done it without you!
