An example of my jewelry

My husband and owned a sewing machine and quilting store for over twenty years. When we retired, we found we had so many sewing machine parts (and knowledge) that people need. EBay has been a way to share all.

I also make one of a kind jewelry we can all afford and knitting stitch markers.This branched out into offering some of the wonderful beads I have aquired to others.

I started making jewelry after our house was broken into several years age. I lost all the family's jewelry. Things from my Grandmother and Great Grandmother, things from my husbands Grandmother, things from my Aunt and things from years of happy anniversaries were gone. Yes, I know they were just 'stuff.' But the loss of all that 'stuff' was heartbreaking and depressing. So instead of buying things that did not have meaning and emotion behind them, I bought beads and gemstones and other parts. I tried to make replicas of some of the lost items. I became pretty good at it! As time went by, I found I really enjoyed creating these "Little Pieces of Art." 

So now I offer them to you. Perhaps you can share in the enjoyment of them. And, I hope, in the fun of wearing and giving them.

So these items are not supposed to be expensive jewelry store jewelry. They are for fun and to make people you love smile. They are affordable enough to wear every day.

I find it is fun to 'talk to' other crafters. And to help them with their projects.
