We live in Canadian a suburb of the City of Ballarat in Victoria, Australia. We have 5 adult children,including triplets,3 of whom live close by with our 5 grandchildren. We have two dogs, Lucy the Whippet and an overweight (he's on a diet)Labrador, Bronson as well as cats Miss Sophie and Spider. We have been collecting antiques for many years and have decided to sell most of our collection, keeping the ones we love. We pride ourselves in delivering top service to our customers worldwide and are well know for our top packing that survives the rigors of the various mailing systems especially the USA. On our travels overseas we look out for items of interest (although there is only so much we can fit into the suitcases. LOL). We prefer to negotiate to achieve mutually satisfactory outcomes rather than give or receive negative feedback.We are sick of the neanderthals who don't communicate with us if there is a problem.Although we pack carefully (see our feedbacks)with the article wrapped in bubble wrap then wrapped again in foam rubber and sometimes polystyrene to strengthen the box, the occasional article still comes to grief.Putting "FRAGILE" (French for "Throw Me") stickers on the boxes doesn't help....we sometimes think that the parcel may get a harder time particularly in the USA mailing system because it is marked FRAGILE.But unfortunately we get blamed for the breakages and are expected to make restitution! Not fair we say! We even get blamed for not insuring or registering the parcel even though the customers are offered it and don't take it up as it adds to the expense of the postage (?) Owing to the fact that we are great people LOL and are so modest LOL, we do communicate with these customers with a view to coming to an arrangement that pleases both parties.However some morons/feral customers won't communicate which makes it difficult, but that's life I suppose.These people can't be dealt with through the feedback process owing to positive feedback for buyers only rule but that's a gripe for another day. Anyhow having got that off our chest,happy buying in 2009 and hope to "see" you again. ............Shirley and her little helper Noel.
