      Hi!  I've created this page to share a bit about who I am and what I'm doing on here.  My name is James Wilson.  I'm a Science Fiction Author and Medical facility Administrator.  I have a wonderful and beautiful wife and two WILD and beautiful twin almost 3 year old daughters. 

So, needless to say...I'm on here for the moolah...'cause I'm gonna need it! 

Actually, we live in Pensacola, Florida.  Life was wonderful in 2004.  We had finally had our kids after years of trying, I was wrapping up my first novel and things were going great.  And then September 16th rolled around.  Hurricane Ivan smashed into the area.   This is America, you don't expect to walk out of your house and see devestation, but that's what happened here.  We lost about 25 % of our house.  The Medical Facility I work at lost 70% of its structure.  Power was out for a couple weeks.  Trash, debris, trees, powerlines, signs, cars,.... It was nuts.  You learn to like MREs by the way when there is no store open for weeks with power. 

But, after a blown in back door, herniated disc, blown down fence, chimney, and leaking walls and windows..you go into survival mode.  The time flashes by fighting insurance companies and treating the PTSD community and having Hurricane Dennis barrel through doing more damage and Katrina brushing us pretty hard too...before you know it, you've used up most of your savings. 

Government help....FEMA.....well...................'nuff said.

Now, almost two years later from Ivan, we still haven't been able to complete our more minor repairs because most of the workers have gone to our neighbors.  They are more needed there now, but that leaves us with people who charge much more for small jobs.  So, my wife and I decided that I don't need to keep collecting coins and that now that we have a chance to catch our breath; its time to let them go.

So I've started liquidating my coins on here.  And, I've had a great deal of success and we've nearly gotten enough to finish our repairs.  But, one thing you learn after going through such adversity is that the absolute most important thing in life is your family.  When our back door blew in and the winds and rain were tearing into the kitchen and family room, I didn't run to the couch or kitchen table, I ran to my wife and children, making sure they were safe and secure first.  Who cares about those material things that can be replaced!  If you take nothing else from my ME page, take this, no matter what always be good to and value your family!

But, I digress,  so what I will be selling on here is the rest of my coin collection and some odds and ends that we own.  I do not and will not be buying things at flea markets etc to sell on here. 

Luckily, we've met some great people on here (except one non-payer).  But, if you are from Nigeria or like Western Union...please don't bid on my stuff! 

If there is a problem with anything I sell, please let me know.  I verified my ID and keep a run of my novel, autographed, for sale so that you will know you are dealing with a real person.

My novel, by the way, is Immortalis by J.A.H. Wilson.  It's available on major book sellers websites like Barnes and N.  I have several others on the way.  Luckily no more kids on the way though!  TWO'S ENOUGH! 

Please give to the American Red Cross and support your state's National Guard and Reserves you don't realize their value until they are needed!  And, whether you disagree with the war or not, always support our men and women in Uniform!  It's always ok to hate the politicians of either party, but NEVER those that bleed for us!
