The Sassy Cat Studio ~ Kathi Manville

I am a self-taught artist and have been selling my art work on ebay since March 2003. All my life I have enjoyed arts and crafts. The name for my art studio was derived from a little black kitten that was dumped at our farm and has stolen my heart. Her name is Lily and she truely is one of the sassiest cats I know.

I enjoy painting a variety of things especially roosters, primitive, and americana themes. Most of my art work is painted on unique surfaces, or junk finds, as you might call them. They include enamelware pans, lunch boxes, pieces of barn wood, ice skates, etc.

I live on a farm with my loving family consisting of my wonderful husband and our four boys. The oldest boy has left the nest and is prouding serving our country in the Air Force. Oh yes, and the sassy cat along with the OLD cat, Tyler and the 5 sisters! We also raise free range chickens and lowline cattle. We live in a small rural area where most of the economy is derived from farming. I work as my husband's hired hand, a piano technician and whatever other occupation needs to be done depending on the day and task at hand. I do all of my painting in my spare time, which doesn't amount to much I'm afraid. We live in Western Nebraska and love the country life!
