I was born and raised in New York City, the second eldest in a family of seven children. With a large family and limited income, my mother became a pro at finding great deals by scouring secondhand stores, discount shops, sample sales, and auctions. From her, I learned how to recognize a bargain, negotiate, and enjoy the rewards of quality for less.

I won a scholarship to Cornell University where I studied Business Management & Economics and subsequently worked in Finance, Fashion & Beauty Public Relations, and Television News. Each of these experiences gave me the building blocks needed to start my own business.

From my cash strapped college years to the corporate world, I've been complimented on my great clothing and accessories. While working in TV, I was stopped almost daily by the network's stylist asking what brand I was wearing and where I got it. Several of the anchors even asked that I become their personal shopper when they heard what great deals I got on my envied wardrobe. It became clear that I was in a unique position to be able to offer those without the time, patience, or know how, a way to get great deals.

With my love of travel and gift for bargain hunting I'm able to offer my customers exotic wares from across the globe and designer items at deeply discounted prices.
