Getting to know me & my studio.
I use a
digital Arrow Springs AF99 annealer with a pyrometer.
After the beads are annealed and cooled, I use a dremel to clean the
beads under water. I then inspect them, color co-ordinate them
and then they are ready for my use in making jewelry and for sale
for others to make beautiful jewelry. Most of my time is absorbed in
making jewelry and lamp work beads. I still have lots to learn
at the torch and love every minute of it. I generally
use most all of the glass on the market today. I take
great pride in creating one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry that reflect
my personality and flair for color with the hope that it will become
an heirloom for that special person.
Aside from the
world of beading and designing jewelry, I have always been active in
lots of other creative crafts including floral
arrangements, needlepoint, knitting, crocheting, sewing and
cross-stitching. I am an avid reader. I also enjoy playing
the piano and am a vocalist.
Professionally, I
was a health analyst for a while. I am an interior
designer and had my own retail gifts, interiors, antiques and design
shop and am in the process of closing out the retail end
of things. I will be listing lots of the items on my web page

interiors and eBay.
I have been
selling my original jewelry to friends and family and in my
retail shop. Since closing the shop, now my venue will be my web
site, eBay, and specialty boutiques.
