Hello and thank you for visiting Dewey's Department Store's About me page! Here at Dewey's we have taken a unique approach to Ebay. We strive to give you the best deal for your Dollar. We realize in this economy, and Ebay in general, a lot of times you pay for what you get. We have all had those moments when we have received something in the mail and it was definately not what we expected. That will not happen at Dewey's Department Store! We are working everyday to find the best deals so we can pass them on! At Dewey's we want to give you more than what you pay for!

Feedback & Non-Paying Bidders

Feedback and DSR's are very important to us. It is unlikely that you will not be satisfied, but if you are for any reason, let us know and we will do our best to fix it. We take pride in being from the south, and we do our best to continue the wonderful tradition of Southern Hospitality. We still believe in the American Economy and we are an American company, employing other American's, selling to the American people, and we will stand united in this less than stellar Economy. We realize that you are too an actual living breathing human. Things come up, life happens, people pass away, and are born, people are sick, and people often have emergencies, and have issues other than Ebay to worry about. That is why if you happen to forget in the hustle & Bustle of life, that you have won an auction, we will be patient. WE will not send you a rude e-mail demanding payment, and hide behind a CAPITAL typed yelling letter. We will remind you. We are not mean, and we expect the same treatment from you. In July of this year, the owner's child grew gravely ill, and had to be admitted to the hospital, as a result of that illness the child was lifeflighted to a different hospital. The child was in and out of the hospital for over 2 months, before his health was finally restored. When that situation happened, our company had several fixed listings that were sold. As a result, the owner quickly e-mailed all of her buyers and explained the situation and asked every buyer if they would prefer to wait for over 1 month for their item, or if they would prefer a refund in full. Most buyers were very kind and accepted the refund, some even going as far to check in on the owner and her Son. However some were not as nice, and immediately left negative feedback. Others that had chosen to wait for over a month, left bad DSR's, bad feedback, and left very rude e-mails. As a result the owner hired several people, and is expanding her business, so that if anything were to arise again, everything will run as normal. So we do ask that you disregard the negative feedbacks you see. Everyone who did leave negative feedback, received a refund in full, and their product. All of them agreed to leave a followup comment, none of them did. If you are still leary, feel free to contact them. They should have nice things to say, because they did receive a free item! Instead of closing this account and starting another account, which most sellers do when they have several negative feedbacks, we have decided to wear the negative feedbacks as a badge of courage. We are determined to bring our seller rating up by the end of the year and become a Power Seller! So help us in our journey! We have gone through the rough patch and it's time to get to the good stuff!

Payment

Payment is to be made by Paypal within 5 days of auction end. I am very easy to work with. If you experience an issue, please feel free to let me know.

Shipping

We do and will combine shipping. Just e-mail us for a quote!

Problems

I offer an exchange only policy. Item must be returned in exact condition it was sent in. Every item I ship is trackable through Paypal. If your item says it has been delivered to your house through the USPS tracking, I will not refund your money if a claim is made that your item has not been received. You are more than welcome to file a claim with Paypal and allow them to investigate the matter. If you do not insure your items, I am not responsible to insure you receive your item. I always recommend insurance. I do not accept returns or exchanges for "wrong color choices" or "wrong size". We all know what size we wear or around what size, ordering 2 sizes too small and asking for a measurement and praying it is the correct measurement when it gets to your house is not a normal way to coduct business. Other than that I am pretty easy to get along with. If something arises and you are unable to pay within the 5 day period..Let me know. Keep me updated so I will not file a Non Paying Bidder warning or re-list the items. This may be E-bay but there is life outside of E-Bay and I realize issues come up.
