 Essence of Time, Inc. is the company, that has been founded in the very interesting era, the times, when the world has shifted to the global commerce by utilizing one of its strongest venues–eCommerce, where people are able to buy, sell, and trade their goods to the most remote places of this planet. The Essence of Time, Inc. was founded in 2001, and fortunately, we were able to progressively grow and become the primary source for acquiring fine timepieces for a lot of domestic and international customers. We are an internet company located in the Midwest region of the United States, and our specialties are selling, trading and buying of high-end timepieces from the recent and current productions, mostly of Swiss and German origins; and recently, we created and launched our own Neckwear line (available in our eBay store and our retail website) featuring creative horological designs.
We carefully select our merchandise, and all of our new and pre-owned watches are being inspected for any possible malfunctions and verified for authenticity.  The idea to create these neckties was born at the end of 2003 when Dmitry Feygin decided to transfer numerous horological images into tangible art form based on his deep involvement and appreciation of fine watches. His strong creative background helped him to conceptualize, stylize, and create highly intricate and artistic designs of the horological nature, and moreover, to metamorphosis them into wearable art–neckwear.
He believed and still does as many other people who share certain appreciation for watches that modern and vintage timepieces are some of the most beautiful creations in the history of mankind, and over the centuries they have projected an image of superb craftsmanship, visual appeal, and most importantly, they have served to people as instruments of how we perceive and interact with time. Their meaning and influences are enormous. Some of these creations project a “status” symbol, some feature incredibly complicated movements, some use space-age materials to allow for these timepieces to be taken deep under the water while others are able to sustain the most ruthless climates, high and low temperatures; and of course, there are some very simple and plain creations with only hour and minute hands just to tell time. All of these factors and Dmitry’s personal involvement with watches contributed to bring this idea of horological neckties to life.

Return Policies

Watches: All of our watches are guaranteed to be 100% authentic and original. If you would like to verify authenticity of the watch that has been purchased through us—we offer 3-business days (72 hours) inspection policy. Please note, that you first need to request our permission and agreement to do so, and we must receive a payment prior to shipping of our merchandise. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and if for some substantial reason, you decide to return the watch–you may do so within seven business days from the date of purchase. If the watch is being returned in absolutely identical condition as it was sent out to you, the full refund will be processed minus shipping costs. If the watch has been tempered with or damaged in any way, we reserve the right not to accept the merchandise back and withhold the refund. Qualified person, who has extensive experience in working with high-end timepieces, must perform inspection and verification.
Neckwear: If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with a necktie you purchased from us, you may return this item within 10 business days from the date of purchase for a full refund minus shipping costs. The tie must be returned in the same unworn condition as it was sent out to you. There are won’t be any refunds or exchanges after 10 business days since you received your order. We will not accept any items that show signs of wear, mishandling or abuse.

Warranties
|
Most of our new watches come with limited manufacturer's warranty. It has been our experience that some watch manufacturers will honor the manufacturer's warranty if the watch is purchased not from an authorized watch dealer, although this acceptance is not guaranteed, and the manufacturer may not be obligated to honor the warranty without the authorized dealer's stamp in the warranty papers.
We, Essence of Time, Inc. provide one year limited warranty on movements of the watches purchased from us (including labor and parts) from the date of purchase. A customer is responsible for shipping costs. Some problems are easily pinpointed and solved over the phone before the actual watchmaker's involvement. |
