Right now all of our eBay profits are going to care for horses that we have rescued! A few months ago my daughter saw a story on the new about great horses going to the local auction house and being sold to the slaughter buyer. (I do realize that all of the slaughter houses in the US have been closed, they are being shipped to Canada) The story really upset my daughter! She had made it her personal mission to rescue one. I am very proud to say that she saved up $550 by selling some of her most favorite items here on eBay! My daughter was able to adopt the horse of her dreams. The horse is a 6 year old paint gelding and is a great guy! They had an immediate bond and are enjoying every minute that they share together!
I would like to thank every one who purchased one of her items for making her dream come true!
My husband and I have also adopted another rescue horse from the auction, she is a 25 year old thoroughbred and is a sweet spirited girl for her age! She has been neglected and will need to have some weight added to her, hoof work done, teeth floated and other basic care that she has been lacking.
All of the profits from our eBay sales will be going to care for our new friends! We really do appreciate the kindness and compassion we have received from our fellow eBay members! Thank You for your support!
