ABOUT ME: After many years using color pencils, I feel like I've found
an exciting new vista. I became inspired by the Daily Painters Movement to try oils.
Followers of the movement vow to paint one small painting a day. My first subject was a 1920's Pinocchio Doll. Painting every day has improved my technique and built up my confidence
very quickly. |
STATEMENT: Painting flowers in particular seems to free
my creative spirit. I am an HGTV addict and I love seeing the latest trends in design and fashion. I thrive
on clever color combinations and interesting negative spaces. Flowers present a simple framework
from which any number of visual outcomes can be achieved. Nothing thrills me more than a
composition that satisfies both traditional standards and serves as salve for my inner design junkie.
I am very grateful to my collectors and I love being a painter. |

MORE ABOUT ME: My
last name is pronounced hep-ner. I
live in a 109 year old home in Cleveland, OH with my hot husband and two
cats. I have a BA in studio arts. (:

ABOUT THE PAINTINGS:
My paintings are oil on cradled board, which I prepare
myself. They are ready to hang via a wire on back, however they will also fit into ready made 8" x 8"
frames if desired. They are signed on front and also titled, signed and dated on the back. (Please know colors from my camera to your monitor may vary slightly!) Larger paintings are available through galleries, juried shows
and by special commission, contact me for more information.

ART IS GOOD:
I encourage you to buy a painting on Ebay, even if it's not mine... Ebay allows
artists a valuable opportunity to forgo the traditional pay out to art agent/consultant and/or gallery.
Most galleries are not interested in small works anyway, there's not enough money in it for them.
Ebay is an outstanding resource for the the beginning collector to
acquire real art. The seasoned art buyer too, will find a
plethora of opportunities for gift giving as well as adding value to their
personal collections.
