Due to a few bad experiences with customers claiming they never received the product, I am now requiring the purchase of delivery confirmation for USA buyers and the purchase of a certificate of mailing for international buyers. This is my proof that I did mail the product to your address. I lost a lot of time on the phone with pay pal as well as a lot of money from one transaction without this proof. It is good for both the buyer and seller.
About 5 years ago I surfed ebay looking for mini perfumes to add to my collection. It was still fairly easy at the time, not as much competition then as now. I realized there were some perfumes I had that were doubles and some I just didn't like anymore, so I tried my hand at selling on ebay. It worked, it was fun, and I had everything to sell right at my fingertips!
5 years later, I am an avid seller, though not as steady as I'd like to be due to a busy family life and a full time job. I have learned that I really do love the whole process, from start to finish. I take pride in careful packing which came from receiving a few broken bottles I won on ebay myself. I have added selling for others on ebay as well, and my experience has paid off for mostly successful auctions.
I have about 500+ mini perfumes in my own collection, and have began to really enjoy the vintage/antique ones. These are becoming harder and harder to come by as others love them as well. Sometimes I choose to sell them rather than keep, especially when I know they can command a high price. My daughter loves the perfumes and has already requested they become hers when my time passes. |
