"Dinomutt" is actually Robert and Shawna Parker. We live in Tempe, Arizona along with our 10 year old daughter, Sarah. We started out as eBay buyers in 1998 and became sellers to help with the costs of Sarah's care and treatment for Autism. She was diagnosed around age 3 1/2. We started searching for treatment options and finally settled on a Gluten Free/Casein Free (GFCF) diet, along with other dietary supplements. GFCF basically means no milk or wheat products. The diet was very challenging at first but Sarah has blossomed and is currently attending a mainstream school with typical (non-autistic) peers. In addition to diet and supplements Sarah also receives music and speech therapy. Sarah is a beautiful child with an infectious smile and is the joy and light of our lives!
If you live in Arizona around the Phoenix area and have a child with autism or know of one, we recommend checking out The Southwest Autism Resource & Research Center (SARRC). http://www.autismcenter.org/ SARRC has lots of resources and information regarding autism. Sarah has attended a summer program there that included both autistic and typical children and she enjoyed it immensely.
