Charlie, Chyna, Spud and Me I have met so many people since I started online and we end up being really good friends so when I finally meet them in person, that's usually what one of us says!! I admit it I am guilty of being a "Traveler" or "Bedouin" or "Vagabond" because I have been known to pack up on a moments notice and completely move my family across country with no home, no job, nothing but what fits in our car. Sometimes that's very scary but it is also quite fun since I have such a big network of cyber pal around the world. I think the 1st time I did this I was 16 and moved from a small town in the south to NYC. My love affair with NY is ongoing and even though I've moved away, my heart will always be in Manhattan. I am currently living in Sin City otherwise known as Las Vegas where I have a variety of things that I do to keep occupied. I run a trade show management group for a company out of the Pacific Northwest and have a dedicated group of online divas that make this a very fun job. I also have a small booth at the local indoor (who could be outside in Vegas in the summer) swap meet and have extended that to store to online here at Ebay. This store and our brick and mortar store are run by refugees of the Katrina disaster. One of my many jobs here in Vegas is to provide life skills training to a group of people FEMA has deemed "Consistently Unemployable" due to lack of skill training or from being on lifelong welfare. By having both an online and brick -n- mortar store, it teaches several aspects of running a business. Purchasing, Marketing, Inventory Control, Customer Service, Sales, Packing and shipping. All these skills can be taken to the work place so they can become vital tax paying members of our society. We all must find a way to "pay it forward." Statue of Liberty in NY Harbor Because I am a big BEAUTIFUL woman (thus the goddess references) I know what a struggle it is to find cute and trendy jewelry that can show off our curves and best assets. I am slowly building a larger selection of plus sized accessories such as rings that are in sizes 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. Another thing that has really bothered me is that retailers take advantage of our ample curves by charging MORE for larger sizes. I will be charging the same. If you are a 5 or a 15 there will be no difference in cost. Don't worry! We have all styles of jewelry that fit everyone from a size 0 to size 28-30. OMGoddess Gifts and Gems does not discriminate against skinny people. :-) One of my newest products is going to be handcrafted jewelry which will be in necklaces, pendants, rings etc. My friend is a master jeweler and is making some great new 1 of a kind pieces. He cuts and polishes his own stones, sets them and makes sure they are made from quality materials. Keep watching my store for these beautiful one of a kind pieces.
