First of all I want to thank all my current customers and if you decide to be one of my future customers let me go ahead and say thank you up front.

I started Dixie Knife Outlet a few years ago; because I enjoy the interesting people I meet along the way. Having customers from all over the world is really a lot of fun, trying to understand what someone from another country is trying to tell you when they don really understand English is a challenge but fun. My U.S customers are a lot of fun too, and it gives me great pleasure when I can help out our U.S. military service members with a pack before they are deployed, and if any of you guys or ladies are reading this let me express my deepest thanks for the job you do for us, and stay safe.

I get asked a lot of time where my store is located, and to answer that question it is right here on eBay. I do not have a physical store, and just operate this online store on eBay.

The store is my second job, and a great distraction from my regular job. I spend my days working for GE Transportation designing railroad crossing equipment, and signaling devices to keep everyone alive and also to help keep the railroads running smoothly. So the next time you have to stop at the tracks and see those dang flashing lights, you can think of me, and know even though it an inconvenience, it beats getting run over by a train. Please do not run around crossing gates they are really there to save lives.

My wife and I enjoy this little business, well me more than her. We have two kids, a boy and girl, our daughter just started college and it won be long until our son heads that way also, and this is another reason I try to make a little extra money to help out with the expenses. Our daughter wants to be a Physical Therapists and our son has his sites set on becoming an Engineer. We are very proud of both of them!
