Hey Y'all! I live in SC, and that's the standard greeting, (for all you Northerners who are unaccustomed to such a greeting). I am a Yankee transplant, having grown up in Illinois, and no, thank you, I do not miss the endless cold weather, snow, and ice which accompanies a Chicago winter. My dear and wonderful hubby is from Wisconsin, and though he misses winter sports, his general sentiments about the weather are shared. I am a homeschooling, stay-at-home mom of seven wonderful children, ages 22 to infant. My oldest daughter is married and has a beautiful little boy - yes, we are proud grandparents! We love camping, getting together with friends, going to church, visiting missionaries on mission trips, and generally enjoying the life God has granted us while we are here on this planet. |

As far as ebay world, I started making soap several years ago and really enjoyed it. For a while, we sold the fats and oils on ebay, along with lye soap. Now, we pretty much just do custom runs, and we'll take in an occasional fair or crafting event.
My first love is writing, and last year we were able to begin a self-publishing company. I now print and sell my own unit studies as well as several books for other authors. I do editing, copyediting, and ghostwriting. My most successful book to date is one I co-authored, titled "The Young Man's HandyBook."
Stop by often - you never know when I'll have a new unit study ready for sale! Also, requests keep pouring in for a Volume 2 to the Young Man's HandyBook, so I've begun work on that. Probably won't be ready for the presses for several months, though. | |
