| My name is Joe. I worked in accounting most of my life though there was a time when I ran a couple of businesses.
I decided to become an e-bay seller at the urging of my son, whose name is Reggie. I agreed to do that if he would be my partner. He is currently attending college to attain a Master’s degree while he teaches..
We decided to start selling vintage and modern cameras along with other products. At the moment we are experimenting with various products besides our cameras, that we can sell.
I’ve seen a lot in my lifetime, from the great depression of the 1930’s, through the second World War , a short stint in Korea, followed by Vietnam and Desert Storm and now Iraq..
I am a member of the American Legion, support the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and any other veteran group. I collect stamps and am a member of the American Philatelic Society. I also like to take pictures with my digital Nikon, my son prefers a digital Canon. I like to listen to classical music but also like the beat of disco music and some rock. I play a Roland Keyboard for my own enjoyment. Reggie also designs web pages

| As for our store and our auctions on EBay, we believe strongly that the customer always comes first. We go out of our way to give the customer what they want. We package all our shipped goods in sturdy boxes, the goods wrapped in bubble wrap and sometimes added plastic peanuts. We answer everyone’s questions and we even answer questions about other things that we are asked about, even by non-customers.
Our store, Olden2Golden and our web page is www.olden2golden.com Someone asked where we got the name, and I said we know that as people age they get better and individuals become seniors who are in their golden years, so what better way but to sell products that were once new and now have reached their golden years. Hence old to gold or Olden 2 Golden.
I have been a photographer for over 50 years and there was a time when I had my own photo lab where I developed rolls of film and printed my own photos. Now I use my digital and send pictures to friends via email or print them out on my printer. I am also a philatelist, belonging to the American Philatelic Society, and have been collecting since the late 1930’s. We are selling U.S. and foreign stamps, which are authentic and of high quality. Some have been graded and others authenticated by the APS. Some stamps today are out of most peoples pocketbooks range, but some used stamps in good condition are affordable where the non used one’s aren’t. We are selling used stamps also, along with sets of stamps, first day covers and plate blocks. We will also be selling what is known as back of the book stamps. These are stamps that are not used for postage. We also plan to sell some errors on US stamps, that are affordable but over time become more valuable. Collectors value their stamps more than a stamp dealer. The reason usually is because the dealer would buy stamps and wants to resell at a profit. Most collectors have not had good experiences when it comes to selling their stamps to dealers for this reason. It’s one reason why I would rather sell my stamps on Ebay.
We will be selling a showcase of diverse items ranging from the cameras, mostly used, but some new, action figures, calendars, stamps, children’s books, children’s toys, simple calculators, unique items, such as a mouse that lights up, and many other things you can find by visiting our eBay store.
