GRANDMA'S  TREASURES...THINGS FROM GRANDMA'S HEART. This has been my tradename for the past twenty years.  I make cloth dolls and their clothes.  I just started to make reborn babies.   I like to use Berenguer's Special Edition Dolls to start with.  They are life size of a newborn, up to a three month old baby.  When they are finished it is hard to tell from their picture if they are a real baby or a doll.

 I would hope to open a shop here in my small community and keep the trade name Grandma's Treasures,  in this shop there would  be dolls to purchase plus classes taught on reborning dolls.  The interested adults would purchase a kit, wig, and stuffing, in the class period of an hour they would work on their doll with supervision, and then take said kit home, return the next week to work on the doll til completion.  They would purchase clothes and have their photos taken with their creation to hang on the wall of creater's .  By working in small groups they can share ideas with one  and another.

The dolls for sale would be Reborn and other collectible dolls.  There would be a section of inexpensive dolls for children to purchase. I love to watch a child's face when she sees the doll that captures her heart. 

 Often my dolls even capture a adult heart as some of my dolls are life size and look like someone we all know, or someone that you remember In the pasr five years the kits are becoming so much more life like . Some of thje newer kits the doll can oen and and shut it's eyes, the preemie dolls have tears and very detailed fingers, that they can suck on them, hair that has been rooted is so soft and can be brushed. these new preeemie faces are so much life like I can almost hear them cry, or giggle with each other. When I start to make a doll, it is a sense of creatating LIFE it is as if my hands have been blessed by God's Grace, each doll comes to life with it's own personality. My health is depleting, but on the good days it feels so wonderful to make the dolls come to life. A little of my spirit goes into each doll then the doll has been blessed through the Blessing I had recieve through God's Spirit. My life is a part of each doll, and I love each doll selected as what God has Blessed me with is passed onto the Buyer.
