I purchase good quality used or new clothing and I inspect my clothing closely for any flaws. If there are flaws I will note those in the description. That doesn't mean I might not occasionally miss something. If I do please contact me and we will work it out. I NEVER intentionally misrepresent an item. I provide measurements on all clothing items. Measurements are those of the actual article of clothing so please make allowances for fit! To ensure a good fit, try measuring a similar item from your closet that fits nicely, and use the measurements provided as a comparison guide. Measurements are taken in this manner:
1) BUST: Measured across the front of the garment, about 1 inch below where the sleeve joins the bodice (underarm), and the measurement is doubled.
2) HIPS: Measurements are taken from side seam to side seam and doubled approximately 6 inches down from waistline for dresses, skirts and pants.
3) SHOULDERS: Measured across the top from shoulder seam to shoulder seam; if there are no seams, I measure from the shoulder above the side seam.
4) SLEEVE LENGTH: Measured from the armpit to the end of the sleeve. OCCASIONALLY as with a raglan sleeve I will measure from the upper shoulder to the end of the sleeve. If I do that I will state so in the description.
5) GARMENT LENGTH: For dresses, shirts or sweaters from the collar seam at the top to the hemline. For skirts from the waist and with slacks I will give the inseam...the length from the crotch seam to the hem.
