Hello and Thank You for taking the time to Read about me. My love of wool started when I was a very small child, My Great Grandmother tought me how to Spin and Rug Hook when I was too young to go to school, She would tell me storys of Her Mother "Mama Mayo", and her Grandmother "Granny Smith", All in one form or other Spun Wool, Rug Hooked, Dyed Wool,and wove fabric out of wool, All Raised Sheep, and Angora Goats.
I raise Shetland and Babydoll Southdown sheep and Angora Goats, Each one very Special I also Spin, Rug Hook, and make Primitive things, but my all time LOVE is dying wool for Penny Rugs and Rug Hooking, I have very Old Family Dye recipes that I use, most I have had to adapt to Jaquard and cushing dyes,
