All of LU Computers' eBay sales are governed by the terms and policy below. To purchase from LU Computers is an acknowledgment that you have read and agreed to all terms and conditions found on this page.
 
 Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information, LU Computers shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. LU Computers shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, LU Computers shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
 
Shipping address must be registered with your credit card issuing bank
For your own protection against credit card fraud, we require that your shipping and billing addresses match. However, if you wish your order to be sent to another address, please notify your credit card issuing bank of the shipping address, for "Address Verification" purposes. To register an address with the issuing bank, please call the Customer Service number, which is located on the back of your credit card. If the shipping address is different from the credit card billing address, your order will not be processed. Address Verification protects against credit card fraud. If we are not able to verify your shipping address with your issuing bank, then we CANNOT process your order.
 
Paypal
Please check each listing carefully as we only accept Paypal on selected number of eBay items under $500 in value. For your own protection against online fraud, we will only ship to your paypal's confirmed address. For help on obtaining a confirmed address status, please see this page. We do not ship to unconfirmed addresses. We only ship to Canada and USA when paying by Paypal.
 
Asian & Oversea orders
Currently LU Computers only accepts direct bank deposit as form of payment for all Asian & oversea orders. LU Computers is not responsible and cannot control any duty or tariffs that might incur on any Asian & oversea orders, please contact your customs office for details.
 
Signature required shipping
To prevent credit card fraud, all orders we ship are traceable. We will prosecute any instances of fraud, and immediately report it to the FBI and higher authorities.

All deliveries REQUIRE A SIGNATURE to be released. Recipient must be at the shipping address during the day to sign and accept the package. If no one is present to accept the package, it will likely be awaiting your signature at a local post office.
 
Shipping times
LU Computers does not give any delivery guarantee such as specified time or date. All shipping dates are estimated from information provided by the carrier and internal processing time. LU Computers does not offer any shipping refund for any delay result from any reason. Any customized computer above $3000 in value and any special order may require extra time for building / testing / shipping. Please call our toll free number for assistance with shipping schedule in these situations.
 
Policy for claiming warranty, discrepancy, return, repair, exchange, refund.
1) Customer must provide invoice or receipt number for proof of purchase.
2) Customer must inform LU Computers the nature of the problem. Customer must cooperate with LU Computers' technical support representative to diagnose & identify any problem over tech support line. Prior to shipping back any merchandise to LU Computers, customer must obtain an Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA #) from LU Computers.
3a) In the case of warranty claim, any defective product must be received by LU Computers at our warehouse before the warranty period is over. Please see our Limited Warranty Policy below for more details.
3b) In the case of return, exchange or refund, all products must be received by LU Computers at our warehouse within 15 days of customer initially receiving the product. Condition of product and all related items must be in the original selling condition; LU Computers reserves the right to refuse any refund / exchange item deemed to be non-resalable. Software products are non-refundable if it the package has been opened. Preloaded operating system & other Microsoft products are none refundable & none exchangeable under any circumstances. A 15% restocking fee is applicable to all refunds / exchanges and the fee will be calculated from taxed total of purchase. Restocking fee is applicable to any cancellations made after payment has been processed. Restocking fee will apply to all cancellations that have had their payment processed and product not yet ready to ship. Deposit is non-refundable. Shipping & handling is non refundable. Exchange value is based on the market price at time of refund; exception applies when purchase price is lower.
3c) In the case of shipping or other order discrepancies or errors, customer must follow the below procedures: a) customer must check their receipt against received content and report any discrepancies immediately.b) Due to the complexity of many of our computers, customer must call our toll free line and perform specific diagnostic steps to confirm discrepancy. Customer must report diagnostic results within 15 days of such request by LU Computers representative. Due to the volatile nature of computer market, customer must cooperate with LU Computers to resolve any discrepancy claims in a timely manner without any delays. Discrepancy claims have a total time frame of 30 days. LU Computers will strictly not process any discrepancy claims after 30 days from its initial report.
4) When a return is accepted, customer will be assigned an RMA # to send back the product(s) with. Customer must follow instructions in packing and sending of the package to LU Computers.
 
Limited Warranty
LU Computers warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a specified duration of time beginning from the date of original purchase. LU Computers, at its option, will either replace the product or repair it at no charge for parts and labor. All laptops are shipped brand new in factory sealed box, any warranty issue will be done through the manufacturer. Please refer to your warranty card inside your package. All warranty requested item(s) must be shipped in or carried in at customer cost. Dead on arrival products will be serviced under warranty policy and does not constitute a refund.  
 
What this warranty does not cover
This warranty does not cover: (a) installation or service of product; (b) conditions resulting from consumer damage such as improper maintenance or misuse, abuse, accident or alteration; (c) all plastic surfaces and all other exposed parts that are scratched or damaged due to normal use; (d) products which have had the serial number removed or made illegible; (e) products rented to others; (f) services completed by an unauthorized third part.
 
What this warranty does not cover (2)
LU Computers cannot be held responsible for any electronic data lost due to virus infection, hardware failure or electrical failure. LU Computers cannot be held responsible for any data sent to us on repair or upgrade orders. You must back up your data before sending it back to LU Computers.
 
Limitation of Liability
The maximum liability to you for products purchased from LU Computers shall be limited to the purchase price you have paid for the products. Also, LU Computers will not be liable for any property damage, personal injury, loss of use, interruption of business, loss of profits, or other consequential, indirect, incidental, punitive or special damages. This applies to all situations however caused, whether for breach of warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, other than those damages that are incapable of limitation, exclusion or restriction under applicable law. LU Computers will not be liable and will not reimburse any third party costs or fees incurred by customer for any reason including but not limited to labor, delivery, diagnosis, technical support, product repair, product installation etc.
 
Rebate policy
If any rebate coupons apply, it will be limited to one rebate per address. Failure to completely fill out a rebate form or attach necessary documents may void the rebate according to manufacturers' policy.
 
How private is my information?
LU Computerss understands our customerswishes for privacy, so we handle all the information you provide to us accordingly. Our conduct with your information will in no way involve a third party organization. Also, as LU Computerss is independent with no links to any other companies, the information you provide will not be directed to a parent, sub, or partner company. Therefore, the conduct and organization of LU Computerss firmly guarantees that YOUR INFORMATION WILL NOT BE SOLD TO OR SHARED WITH ANOTHER ORGANIZATION. LU Computers retains your information in our database for the sole purpose of making the purchasing process faster. If you wish to remove your information from our database, you may notify us by email or telephone.
 
How secure is my information?
We have taken every possible measure to ensure that purchasing online at LU Computerss is safe. We are currently using the industry standard SSL software to protect our customersbilling and personal information. This technology encrypts the data representing your information as it travels through the Internet space before it is decrypted in our systems. Once in our systems, we transfer your information to a database that is not linked to the Internet so that it is protected from hackers. Finally, only our accountant and no one else will handle your billing information.
