I have been restoring furniture for 35 years. The addiction started in my teens and has expanded to three buildings full of furniture patiently awaiting work, and a very well-equipped shop. I duplicate/repair most everything, and I particularly like the old oak office stuff..rolltop desks, files, barrister bookcases and desk chairs.

I am also principal of a 700+ student elementary school in northeast Georgia. The kids see me as the crazy man who always has a truck full of junk. I go to several major shows..Scotts in Atlanta each month, and I try to get to Madison/Bouckville, NY, and Brimfield, MA at least once a year.

I recently lost close to 150 lbs..still not pretty, just less..
