That being said I need to explain a few things.

For one when you look at the size charts and find your size [see chart below]…..say it’s a Medium and you look at the Actual Chest/Bust measurements for a Medium you will see that it says 38 to 40”, now the line that says Finished Chest/Bust measurement [on the Medium] says the top will be 46" to 50”, I don’t want a top that is to big on me so I go back to the chart and look for a Finished Measurement that more closely matches my actual measurements and that would be the XS size but it is 38" to 42” and I want to be able to move a little bit so I would order the Small which is 42" to 46”.

The point is FOR YOU TO ORDER THE SIZE THAT MOST CLOSELY MATCHES THE MEASUREMENTS THAT WILL FIT YOU AND FIT THE WAY YOU ARE USED TO YOUR TOPS FITTING YOU.

If you are ordering from your actual measurements then look under the individual Size Measurements and the Finished Measurements for a size that will most closely match your measurements and that will fit you comfortably.

If you are ordering from measurements taken from your Scrub Top then go to the Finished Measurements only and order the size that is closest to the ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS OF YOUR TOP.

Bottom line is this………..it is up to you to give me the correct size and I am doing everything that I can to make sure you have the information that you need to do this.

DO NOT ASSUME that you always will take the same size. Patterns are no different than going to buy any piece of clothing in your local brick and mortar store; at one store you may take a medium and at the next store you may take a small; so invest in a tape measure and order based upon your actual measurements or the measurements of your favorite scrub top/pants. These tops & pants have a finished size of 8” to 10” larger than your Bust/Chest/Waist/Hip measurements [see Finished Measurements]. Please remember that when ordering and order according to how you are accustomed to your tops fitting you ) I only have what you tell me to guide me in the making of your top or other purchase; unfortunately I can’t read minds [not long distance anyway], and my Crystal Ball is broken [husband dropped the darn thing :) ]. So this is a big deal I can’t make your items without you! 

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR CURRENT SCRUB TOP:

To measure your scrub tops; Using Finished Bust/Chest measurement: Lay flat; (front side facing up); smooth top out; take tape measure and starting on one side (at the widest part where your bust/chest is) measure straight across to the other side in the same spot; this will give you your bust measurement which you multiply by two [this will give you your FINISHED BUST MEASUREMENT]. Length: Turn top over; (front side down-back side facing up) measure from the middle of the neckline down to hem; this will give you your length (if you need to adjust the length do so now by adding or subtracting the amount you need it to be adjusted). Use these measurements to find your size from the charts below using the FINISHED MEASUREMENT lines (note you can either use the pattern finished measurement or if you need your top longer or shorter than these measurements use your own);
