Dr. Trigger Enterprises, inc. (DTE) was founded in March of 1997 by Waylon G. Stepp, Ph.D.  Dr. Stepp founded the company as a service based organization to serve institutions of higher learning and some small businesses.   In December of 1997, DTE was moved from NW Arkansas to Tulsa, Oklahoma. In August of 1999, Shawn (Buckner) Stepp joined with Dr. Stepp to incorporate DTE with the formal name of Dr. Trigger Enterprises, inc.  In September of 2003, DTE Was moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Since moving to Iowa, DTE has contracted with the various non-profit organizations and governmental agencies (local, state, and federal). DTE is primarily involved in grant writing, grant/project management, and project development and implementation.. DTE does grant reviewing for approximately 8 different federal agencies.   Dr. Stepp is a Certified Grants Specialist® (CGS), a course/designation sponsored by the National Grant Writers Association and Troy State University Dothan.   He has over 15 years of experience in the Grant writing/reviewing.  Dr. Stepp is certified in Project Management and other related topics by Brainbench.   Also,  I have just received a Non-Profit Management Certificate (certification) through Iowa State University.  Now, I plan to work on an advanced certificate/credential from Stanford University in Project Management this fall (2007), I just received notification of acceptance into the program.

DTE is beginning to grow to include more clients and staff.  Dr. Stepp and Mrs. Stepp are the two primary consultants on staff.  Aside from them, DTE has contracted with other professionals to better serve the needs of their growing client list.
