Who is "Drumbalaya" anyway?
Drumbalaya is a family-owned and operated small business. As a result of a very time-consuming process and several frustrating eBay experiences to put together an economical, custom electronic drum kit, we realized that other e-drum enthusiasts must also face the same challenges. After some thorough analysis of the electronic drum market, we decided that a company like this could be viable and decided to make the necessary investments to found Drumbalaya in July 2001.

The owners
Ed Morin
Ed has more than 20 years experience in the high-tech industry at all levels, including senior executive positions. He started, grew, and sold an Internet Service Provider and was responsible for the development and operation of a very large e-commerce Web site for an established retail catalog mail-order firm. He has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and currently serves on the advisory boards of several local companies.
From as early as age 5, Ed has enjoyed playing (or attempting to play!) different musical instruments . Although he briefly owned a simple trap kit when he was about 12, he didn give percussion another try until he was 38. Today, he regularly plays in his church worship band and continues to take lessons (Scott Parker Drum Studio) to further develop his abilities.
Charlotte Morin
Charlotte has more than ten years of experience in the high-tech industry including six years spent working with Ed to grow his Internet company. She has a degree in Computer Science and takes on various projects to keep up in the field now that she is working at home full-time. Although Charlotte has never professed to be anything of a musician, she loves to sing and has even been occasionally caught enjoying the variety of sound capabilities of Ed electronic drum set.
