Antique Coverlet Piece


Welcome to Somewhere Back in Time.....Thank you for taking the time to stop by and view my me page.  I am a city girl gone country!  I was raised in town but when married 24 years ago, moved to the hills... There is no other place for me to enjoy the beauty and peacefullness of Gods amazing creation.

 I have been selling and purchasing (way too much) on eBay since February 1998. I believe in the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". I believe that is the key to success and all around happiness.

I enjoy collecting Antiques and Primitives.  I love to go to yard sales and auctions to find that perfect piece of history to either add to my home or to share with you. At the present time I am selling a variety of items mostly of which have been obtained from auctions.  My passion is for the Vintage Textiles weather they be Antique Coverlets, Quilts, old Linens, Chenille Bedspreads, etc.  The old quilts remind me of mosaics in fabric, just totally awesome!  Many of the coverlets have imperfections that just adds to the character of each piece.

Vintage Quilt Runner

I am currently a reseller of the creations of Raggedy Jan (ebay id raggedyjan13) and Primitive-Ewe.  Their store is Raggedy Jan to Primitive Ewe which is also the name of their web site.  Many items I find at yard sales and auctions, Raggedy Jan turns into a stunning piece of Folk Art.  Her sister Primitive-Ewe also latches on to some of my quilts and coverlets making a variety of items from near life size Old World Santas to Cats and Runners.
