Habits
I wake up each morning without fail. Usually I listen to the local news on Moray Firth Radio without taking much in, apart from the sweet tea which Mo has thoughtfully provided.
We live near Dingwall in a converted farm steading. Dingwall is not noted for its beauty and neither are its inhabitants, but there is nowhere better to get things done. You can be born, married, sent to prison and buried there, as many locals have.
I was brought up near London, collect Hornby Dublo 2 rail trains and run a Dublo web site. Mo is from Northern Ireland and dabbles in deco ceramics and Bakelite. Molly was born in Inverness and doesn't collect anything yet.
Socialising is a major part of Highland life, and it is still considered a great compliment to turn up at a friend's house and stay for several days without warning.
