More about dublobear As a boy playing with my Dublo Thank you for taking the time to read this page. Presumably you are thinking about bidding on one of my items. So let me tell you a bit about myself and the service you can expect from me. My username gives the game away ! I love Hornby Dublo 3-rail - the old tinplate trains from the 1940s and 50s. My spare room has two large fold down baseboards making a 4 track layout of about 8' x 9' - this is for rainy days and wet evenings. Out in the garden is a rockery with an ever-expanding LGB G gauge layout - for the odd sunny day ! I don't claim to be an expert on Model Railways but I am an enthusiast who knows a bit. So you can be reassured that I will do my best to sell you items that are suitable for your needs and will answers all questions to the best of my ability. Most of the items I list are Model Railway related - mainly LGB or Hornby Dublo. Part of my current layout I only list items that I actually have and I try to describe them accurately. After listing they are packed using as much original packaging as possible. I try to make them indestructible ! Most items are wrapped in acid-free tissue and then bubblewrap before being sealed in a box, jiffy bag or envelope as appropriate. Then they are weighed - I estimate the actual postage, packing and handling when listing - this includes insurance up to £36 by Royal Mail. please ask if you require more than this. I will always try to pack multiple purchases together and save you postage.  I pride myself on good communication and expect the same from other eBayers. It doesn't take long to send an email even if you do not have time to pay at that moment. I always read payment instructions but will not alter the address you give me - why don't all eBayers list a correct address - do they want their goods to go astray ? So please check that your address is correctly listed and your postcode correctly spaced. Royal Mail postage includes insurance up to £32 and most items over £10 are sent Recorded. Smaller items are put in the postbox outside my house. If any items go astray I always do my best to replace the item or compensate the buyer - I do not take the attitude that it is not my responsibility ! I visit the Post Office twice a week and the postbox is by my house, so you can expect fast despatch, but please be patient as I do have other commitments. You must allow at least 7 days for clearance of personal cheques - I live rurally and only get to a bank about once a week. I love PayPal - instant payment means instant despatch - you buy, you pay, I post ! Simple ! And I have no time for eBayers who want to charge extra for paying by PayPal. Do they like waiting for cheques to arrive ? Or perhaps they love queuing at the bank ? I don't ! The other simple way to pay is via internet banking - you make a payment directly form your account to mine - just ask for my details. Anyway - good luck with your bids and I hope you are successful. Listings To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names.
