All About Dumplinsgrl Treasures My name is Lisa and I've been selling here for almost 3 years. It sure doesn't seem that long. I am a lifelong lover of all things thrifty. My mom would drag us to flea markets and yard sales when me and my sisters were little and I swore I'd never shop there when I grew up. Then I became a mom. I'm 42, very happily married for 23 years and have 3 children ages 23, 22, and 20. My hubby works for a demolition company. I get to go in some of the old houses and buildings before they come down and that's where I find most of the architectural things I sell. Some of the things I find are just gorgeous, some need a little work. I always look at things as what they can be when I'm done with them, not by what they look like when I find them. I chose the name dumplinsgrl because hubby was hit by a car 11 years ago and was in a coma for 3 days. I would call him "dumplin" because I knew he hated it and I thought it would help wake him up. When he did and I told him the story, he said I could call him "dumplin" any time I wanted and the name has stuck ever since, hence the name dumplinsgrl. By the way, he's now been sober for 11 years (7/31/98) and is a born again Christian. Our God works in mysterious ways!!!
