Hi everyone!! Great that you are reading my 'me' page. It gives you a bit of information about who I am, what I sell and why I started selling on Ebay.
My name is Wilma from the Netherlands (1955).
Early 2006 I visited my best friend Lia (Catchme8161). She had some porcelain and christal she wanted to sell and we ended up on Ebay.
We were amazed that it sold so easely and at that moment the 'sellingvirus' hitted me. I started to visit flee markets and bootsales and buying porcelain and ceramics from good manufacturers. Most English and later Delft Blue, which I still sell but only from 'de Porceleyne Fles', the best there is.
At one time I saw this Louet spinning wheel at a church sale and I had no idea if it would sell but it did. After that spinning wheels became my primary goal. Buying and selling spinning wheels! By now I know all the in's and out's of spinning wheels..:-)
It brings me all over the Netherlands and Belgium to pick them up. A nice side effect is that at the same time you meet all sorts of people and visit places where you normally wouldn't come. I'm still amazed how beautiful my country is.
My feedback shows that I'm doing a good job and if something is not a 100% than I will always do my utmost best to offer a solution that makes the buyer and me happy.
Because I buy my wheels 2nd hand I can't guarantee it comes from a smoke or pet free home. This can never be a reason to take a spinning wheel back.
My wheels are not stored in my house but in my workshop where I clean them and replace parts if necessary. I get all my package material for free and therefore never charge you for that, and also no handling fee!
On a regular base I visit the Louet factory for spare parts or order them by post.
The spinning wheels I buy and selll are vintage or older.
The people I buy them from don't always store these wheels in a proper manor (sheds, barns, attics etc.) There can be blemishes as can be expected with used items.
