Hi, welcome to my me page. I am a music-fan and collector of Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Acid and psychedelic vinyl records from the late 60s and early 70s. To extend my collection I often go to record sales and buy wholesale collections of vinyl records. By selling the duplicated or unneeded records on Ebay, I try to finance my personal record collection.
I'm only offering the highest quality of rare pre-owned vinyl records. Each record has been carefully manually cleaned with a carbon-fibre brush and optionally washed with the Loricraft PRC3 record cleaning machine
None of the records I am selling has nasty clicks, pops, skips or repeats, Records which do not meet the grading/condition as described on the item's can be returned and will be refunded.,
Below is the list of the most common questions I receive:
In this Frequently Asked Question section I try to answer
to the most common questions. This FAQ has three sections: Shipping, Payment
Methods and General Questions.
Looking for a particular record not listed on my Ebay listings, checkout my
homepage for additional vinyl records http://www.vinylrecords.ch
Q.Will you ship to my country?
A.YES, I will ship to any country in the world.
Q.When will you ship my item?
A.Items will be shipped the same of next business day, after payment has cleared
.
Q.How much does it cost to combine LP's?
A.The Swiss post charges for international parcels are based on the weight of
the packages. Three weight ranges exist
1-500 grams (1LP + packaging),
501-1000 grams (2-3LP's + packaging),
1001-2000 grams (4-8LP's + packaging).
Exact shipping prices for combined shipments can be found at the bottom of my
listings.
Q.What do you charge for the handling?
A.I do not charge for Shipping and Handling fees. All records are packed in
thick and strongcrash-proof corrugated cardboards and wrapped in plastic international
shipping bags made by the Swiss post.
Q.Why are the shipping costs so high?
A.I charge only actual costs charged by the Swiss postal services. In some cases
a record can weight up to 200 grams. A gatefold album or double LP album can
also weight over 200 grams. In order to properly protect the records during
shipment, I use heavy-duty packaging material which weights between 200-300grams.
This makes that in some case the total weight for a single album exceeds 500
grams and therefore falls into the 2nd category of shipment costs. In these
cases: check if I have some other interesting offers which can be combined.
Q.Will you combine more then 8LP's or 2KG?
A.Yes, I will be happy to combine more then 8 LP's and weight them in order
to combine as many records as possible.
Q. How long does it take to ship/transport the item? How
comes that item has still not arrived?
A. The time to ship an item is for Europe 5-10 business days,
and for the Rest of the World 10-15 business days. Take into account some delays
may be caused by Legal holidays, customs processing etc. Specific shipping information
to your country can be found on this page: http://www.post.ch/sgo/index.jsp?lang=e
Q.How can I protect myself against lost or broken items?
A. ALL vinyl records are packaged in thick corrugated cardboard
and professional mailers. Despite this protection, the Postal services are sometimes
using their trucks to drive over the parcel and a occasionally a broken record
can happen. To cover yourself against the risks of broken or lost items, you
MUST USE for the optional insurance. Without this insurance I can not take any
responsibility for lost or broken items.
Q.Why do I receive multiple invoices?
A.This happens because you have bought records across multiple Ebay sites (eg
Ebay USA and Ebay Switzerland), Ebay and Paypal do not allow the combining of
invoices for multiple sites. Therefore you receive multiple invoices: one invoice
for each site. Obviously the shipping costs will be charged only once.
Q.Can I make a direct bank-transfer?
A.Only if you are willing to cover the bank's service charges, You can make
a direct-transfer to my bank account, bank's service costs MUST be charged to
YOUR own bank-account. Please be aware that banks do consider Switzerland as
a Non-European country and may charge exorbitant high charges for international
money transfers.
Q.How do I pay within Switzerland?
A. Payments within Switzerland can be made by direct payment to my Post-finance
account. If you are using the red payment slip at the post-office, you must
add CHF 1.20 for the costs charged by the banks.
Q.Do you accept cash in mail?
A.Yes, I will be happy to accept cash (No coins) via registered mail. No coins
please
Q.Do you accept Cheques/Money/Bidpay Orders?
A.Cheques and money orders are an uncommon payment method in Switzerland and
my bank charges a $5 service fee for cashing these. If you want to use Cheques/money
orders you MUST add $5 to the total costs.
Q. How do you grade records?
A. All records are visually graded under bright light, in cases that. I trend
to underrate my records and strictly according to Goldmine Grading for records.
Q. Can I have a high-resolution scan/photo of the record's
label?
A. Yes, I will be happy to email you a high quality and high resolution digital
photo of the record label or any other part of the album.
