is a small but fast growing company based in the Washington, D.C. (U.S.A.) metro area.
We sell consumer electronics to customers in North America, South America, Australia, Europe,
Asia and Africa. Our business is to providing great deals on store returns, refurbished units and other goods and passing the enormous savings on to our customers.

OUR PRODUCTS

Except for new items, all units put up for sale on this website have been tested for functionality. A close inspection also results in cosmetic evaluations. These are classified as follows:

Store Returns: These are items that have been returned to the store by the original buyer. In some cases, we will get these store returns serviced by the manufacturer to restore them to full working order. Store returns pass through the store and at least one warehouse before reaching our facility, so the unit may have a few light scratches. If there is wear above and beyond this, we grade the wear in one of four categories:

Excellent Condition: These units will be in near perfect condition. As they have been handled by the original owner, the store, and in our facility, they may have a few imperceptible light scratches. However, these will have to be sought out and will not be evident without a close inspection.

Light Use: Units listed as "light use" will have minor scratches on the front and/or back. The Liquid Crystal Display (LCD,) if any, will be clear of scratches.

Moderate Use: Units listed as "moderate use" will have obvious scratches on the front and/or back. The scratches will be deeper, larger and more clustered than units listed as light use. The LCD on these units may have a minor scratches or two, but will be difficult to notice under normal use.

Extensive Use:
Units listed as "extensive use" will be very worn and may not be pretty. They will have a great number of scratches on the front and/or back. The LCD will likely show some scratches or wear. These will be visible under normal use. However, the LCD will be fully functional and will not be gouged or otherwise impaired. These units are only recommended for those looking for bargain prices and for whom cosmetic appearance is unimportant. PLEASE NOTE: Some items such as PDAs and MP3 players (iPods) can be set in glove fitting cases (purchased separately) to conceal most of the wear.
The above descriptions apply to cosmetics only. Please take notice that on PDAs and computer laptops, any mark on the LCD or plasma screen will be clearly indicated. Any damage or functional issue will also be so noted on the auction page. We are very meticulous in noting damage or functional defects.
- Refurbished: These are units that have been restored to original factory specifications by the manufacturer. In some cases, these units will have been rejected only for cosmetic reasons. If this is the case, they will be noted on the auction page.
- Repaired: In some cases, we do our own hardware repairs. These are done by certified technicians. Any repair performed by us will be so noted on the auction page.
- New: If we have brand new items, we will list them as such. Brand new items are generally new in box (NIB) and factory sealed. They will not have been opened or tested.
Except for new items as stated above, we inspect and run tests on all the units put up for sale. Those units that fail the tests and that canot be repaired are removed and sold for parts or repair on another platform.
We keep a detailed report of the tests performed on each unit. Like everyone, we make mistakes at times and can overlook a defect. If we do, please let us know immediately. We have a 30-day guarantee to cover such events. We will repair, replace your unit, or issue a full refund (at our option) if we fail to catch a malfunction during our tests.

OUR GUARANTEE /
EXTENDED WARRANTY

Dyelectrics offers a
30-day Iron-Clad Guarantee on the unit's functionality, starting from the date of sale
(the day you won the auction or bought the item.) We guarantee that the item we will ship is the item described on this auction page. However, the pictures of the item may be generic and not of the item being auctioned. Any functional defect in the item will be stated. In the unlikely event that a functional defect that make the item unusable as listed is later found, we will issue a full refund or an exchange, at our option. This
is at no additional cost to the customer. You can bid with confidence
as we stand behind all our products.
We test each item carefully at our facility. But, like everyone else, we occasionally make mistakes on an item's functionality. In the event we do, please contact us immediately. We reserve the right to verify any defect reported.
The buyer should assume no manufacturer's warranty unless otherwise stated in the auction
page. An extended warranty can be purchased for pennies a day from SquareTrade. Currently, insurance coverage is offered for two years for store returns and three years for new or refurbished items. We strongly recommend this extended insurance coverage to protect your investment. More information

The
Iron-Clad-30-Day-Guarantee:
- We, at
Dyelectrics, offer our
Iron-Clad-30-Day-Guarantee on all our
products worldwide.
- We guarantee the item we sell will be the item described on our auction
page and that any functional defects will be noted. In the unlikely event of a
functional problem, we provide a full and complete refund or an exchange, both
at no cost to our customers.
- We test each item carefully at our facility.
If you report a defective unit, we will check your complaint against the
report of the tests that were performed and will make a determination on the
next course of action. Before you return the unit, you must request a RAN
(Return Authorization Number.) Once you have received a RAN, you may
ship the unit back to us. Upon receipt, the unit will be tested
again and a determination will be issued as to whether it should be
repaired or exchanged. Should neither of these solution prove possible, a
refund will then be issued. You can bid with confidence as we stand behind
all our products. Remember that you should not return a unit before a RAN has
been issued. Should a unit arrive without a RAN, it will be refused
and returned to sender at sender's expense.
Extended Warranty:
- Our customers should assume no manufacturer's warranty unless otherwise stated at the top of the auction
page.
- In addition to Dyelectrics'
30-day warranty, we strongly
recommend the purchase of a comprehensive extended warranty
to protect your investment. Such a warranty can be purchased for pennies a day.

PAYMENTS AND RETURNS

Payments
- We accept Paypal. Our
auction ID on the Paypal site is
payments@dyelectrics.com
Payments are accepted in U.S. Dollars, Canadian Dollars,
Euros, and Pounds Sterling.
- Payments in U.S. Dollars via Western Union are acceptable but
are expensive and necessitate the
addition of a processing fee. Please contact us to find out how
much you should add to your payment if you are using Western Union.
- We also accept certified checks and
money orders in U.S. Dollars. Our contact information will be on the winning bidder's confirmation e-mail.
- We also accept wire transfers to our U.S. bank account. Please contact us after the auction to arrange for a wire transfer.
- In some exceptional cases, we will accept personal checks drawn on a U.S. bank
only. Checks
must clear before the goods are shipped and that may take up to two or three
weeks. Please contact us before sending a personal check. Should your bank not
honor the check, there will be an additional charge of $50.00 (this
is what our bank charges us for depositing a bad check) that will
also have to be paid before the unit is shipped.
Winning bidders must:
- Contact us within 48 hours of the close of the auction at
Customer.Service@dyelectrics.com.
- Send electronic payments (PayPal) within three (3) business days, or

- Send a certified check or money order so that it is received within seven (7) business days
of the auction closing. If you are sending a certified check or money order, please contact us so we know to hold the item for you.
Items can be released back into inventory if the winning bidder does not initiate contact or pay within the specified times.
- In the unlikely event of a problem, please contact us first. We will work with you to resolve the problem or troubleshoot your product.
- In the unlikely event of a malfunction, if we
cannot repair the unit we will issue a full refund or an exchange at no cost to the customer, up to 30 days from the date of purchase.
- We act in good faith and we hope that you will leave no negative or even neutral
feedback on the transaction if we have to issue a refund or an exchange. If there is an
error, please trust that we will do our best to correct the situation.
Please note returns are for functional issues only. We evaluate returns for cosmetic or other issues on a case-by-case basis.
Regretfully, we cannot approve and issue refunds or exchanges after 30 days.

SHIPPING AND TAXES

We ship within the United States via USPS, UPS Ground and FedEx Ground. Shipments to APOs/FPOs,
Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Northern Marianas and the
U.S. Virgin Islands may be sent via the U.S. Postal Service.
- Shipping Worldwide is via UPS, DHL or FedEx at
our discretion.
- We ship to the Caribbean, Central and South America and
Europe. We ship to Israel, South Africa and some countries in Asia.
- Please check with us if you require shipment elsewhere. We cannot ship to the Ukraine, Russia, Indonesia and most countries in Africa
due to unavailability of insurance.
- Please note that international carriers may assess a "remote area" fee if you are not near a city. We will contact you if this fee is due for your shipment.
- Delivery time via UPS Ground ranges from 1-6 business days.
- Shipping via USPS Global Express Mail is 1-5 business days worldwide to the country.
- We fully insure all our shipments to ensure a smooth delivery. All our shipments have a tracking number (UPS) or delivery confirmation number (USPS Global Express Mail). We will send you this number once your package ships.
Taxes, Customs and Duties
- Virginia residents pay a sales tax of 5%.
- International buyers are responsible for all
Customs duties, tariffs, brokerage and demurrage fees, as well as other taxes,
fees and charges that may be assessed in their country. These are in
addition to the cost of the item and the shipping charges.

Due to U.S. regulations, we regretfully cannot ship items as
"gifts" or as a
"sample."

in the description, do not assume it is included. We match accessories to the auction page, not to what may be listed on the manufacturer's box.
- We guarantee our items will not be DOA and will be fully functional as described on the auction page.
