 My wife and I are incurable collectors. I collect and sell old kerosene lanterns and Carol collects old and new cast iron pans and yellow ware bowls. I like to buy old lanterns and make them like new again. Here are some photos of my work. My motto for my work is -What was old is now new again-and when I finish restoring a lantern and I see the light it casts. I like to think of the Bible verse talking about Jesus. He is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. May the light that is Jesus Christ shine on us all and on our great country The United States of America.

Each lantern that leaves my New England lantern shop is tested to be 100% functional and fit for prominent display. All my work is done by hand. I painstakingly labor over each detail.
