Our mission is to be a leader in reducing the computer and electronics waste produced in this and other countries. Our goal is to facilitate the responsible disposal of computer and electronics waste through education, community involvement, product stewardship, public and private advocacy, and professional consulting, as well as sales and marketing.
Education: to provide all consumers with information about the dangers of computer and electronics waste, and to increase awareness of how to dispose of computers and electronics properly and responsibly, within the "Green" recycling model.
Community Involvement: to assist residential and business communities in developing E-waste recycling programs, through fundraising and/or 'sponsored' events, in order to further responsible recycling of computer and electronics waste.
Product Stewardship: to consult with the computer and electronics industries about the need for all parties to take responsibility for the environmental impacts of products at every stage of the product's life, including design, manufacture, marketing, and use, and to promote end-of-life management strategies.
Public and Private Advocacy: to lobby and advise state, municipal, and local government agencies about issues and benefits relating to responsible disposal of computer and electronics waste, and to foster two way communication and cooperation between government agencies and industry leaders as a means to further responsible disposal in the "Green" recycling model.
Professional Consulting: to provide government, business, and individuals with professional advice about what options are available (i.e.: resale, donation, end of life recycling, etc.) to responsibly dispose of their electronics and computer waste.
Any and all computers, computer equipment, monitors, televisions, fax machines, copiers, or audio and video equipment - working or not - is accepted here at E-Waste Solutions. When received, all equipment is evaluated and checked out (or, "Teched Out") by our computer technicians, then a determination is made whether it is viable for resale or donation, whether some of its parts or compnents can be harvested and resold for reuse, or whether it must be responsibly recycled.
