We rarely discuss ebay's feedback system, nor do we EVER ask our buyers for feedback, however due to some recent problems with a very small amount of buyers, we felt the need to explain how feedback and detailed seller ratings affect your sellers.
Ebay leads buyers to believe that a 4 star rating is a good rating for buyers to give to sellers. However, ebay in turn tells sellers that a 4 star rating is unacceptable and have been sanctioning and even suspending sellers with outstanding feedback scores that may have only a 4 star rating. Here is a direct quote from ebay's seller help pages: "eBay requires sellers to maintain at least a 4.3 average for each DSR (Item as described, Communication, Shipping time, and Shipping and handling charges).

We are disheartened to learn that several of our buyers are leaving us glowing feedback, then leaving low scores on the DSR (star) ratings. Many think that these ratings are anonymous, but I assure that they are not. There are programs that sellers can use that tells them exactly who gave us what rating.
We at Earring Artistry strive to offer the best service and products available at the VERY lowest prices. We do a LOT of research and always offer our items (even with the shipping costs included) lower than any other seller on or off ebay. In addition, we have been taking the additional time and effort to gift box each and every "buy it now" item that is purchased. We do NOT package items together in the same box - EACH item is gift boxed individually and ready to give. We ship our items within 24 hours and issue shipping notices immediately upon shipment. Unfortunately, we have no control over USPS transit time, but we always meet our shipping time commitment of 24 hours, excluding holidays (we have even been shipping EVERY Saturday, although that is against our policies). Some buyers have penalized us for an item taking even just 5 days to reach them, when we shipped either the same day or next day. What more can we do?
If you are happy with your item, have received good customer care and your item was posted in a timely manner, we ask that you please help us stay in business by offering us a 5 star rating. If for some reason you feel we have not earned that 5 star rating, we certainly hope you will contact us, so that we can work with you regarding any problems.
We're sorry to have to post this information, but so many sellers are leaving ebay because of these problems and then buyers wonder why some of their favorite sellers have left and they are no longer getting the same great deals on ebay. The fact that ebay is skewing the system in this way is why sellers are leaving in droves. Please work with us, and we will our best to assist you with any situation that may arise.

**We no longer deliver to Canada, Italy or France due to repeated delivery problems, however, ebay clumps all European countries together as one shipping destination, therefore we are forced to block all countries. If your country is not listed as a "ship to" destination, please contact us to see if your country is eligible for shipping, and to be added to our exemptions list.
Returns: Therefore, if you are not satisfied with your purchase we will gladly refund your purchase price For health reasons, we cannot accept any ear piercing products or supplies once the packaging has been opened or otherwise compromised. You must return your piercing product sealed and intact, except in cases of defect or gross misrepresentation. In cases of defect or damages for any of our products, please contact us for immediately assistance.
